Darn it all. I would have bought some of that hair for dolls wigs.
What did she do with it? For quite a while in Australia no-one wanted real hair for wigs as there was no way of sterilizing it, or something like that. Now Aussie hair is made in to wigs for cancer people. My sister-in-law has beautiful thick wavy red hair. She grew it long enough to meet the wigmaker requirements and then donated it. It had to be a minimum length, cut in a certain way, and there was a maximum percentage of grey allowed, which wasn't very much. I don't understand that, gray haired people get cancer too.
