I have short term tv/movie memory so I don't mind when that happens.
Back in the video rental day... The clerk said "you must really like this movie!"
I asked her why she thinks that?
Turns out I rented the same movie 3 times. Oops. lol.

I once bought back a book that I had donated to an op shop.

before i started my media files, i had no idea what i had on tape or dvd. an example? i had 3 dvd copies and EIGHT vhs tape copies of the princess bride, lol! my files are part of why i started REALLY selling on ebay, specialties being video and audio of all types. mostly cds and dvds now, when i sell. but not too often anymore. * yes i am a hoarder, i will always have a room full of books, movies, music and generally artsy strange things. like my robots. and my miniposters. and my pink flamingo watering ...thing....and my beloved brooches!! etcetera, etcetera, etcetera....* i DO TRY to keep it all in one room...uumm...except what's in the music room, of course.... and the random books that are everywhere. literally.

You are the opposite to me Sin. I tend to bin everything or give it away and then I find myself looking for some thing a month later.

oh, with other stuff i'm like that, lol! i would probably give myself heart failure if i added up the cost of all the hats and kitchen gadgets and paperback books that i've given away. i guess things changed when we finally bought this place, instead of renting. then i started BUILDING and hoarding!

It's amazing how quickly all the clutter can build up. I noticed that with kerbside collection days. We have them every year and no matter how much people got rid of last year, they will be doing the same this year in equal amounts.
I'm looking forward to our next collection day. The garage is getting full of junk again.

I'm famous for throwing stuff away, can't tell you how many times I've thrown stuff of kiddo's out over the years at Xmas time, I'm that person running around getting rid of the paper asap, haha. I hate clutter and I have to have everything neat, with straight lines, lol. mats that move do my head in, noooo stay straight

Duffy you were a wretched beast on my Roseanne thread. I put you on ignore and wrote out 3 paragraphs in red font, including poor baby at least 19 times.
Not really... lol... I don't expect everyone to agree on everything and tv shows are subjective.
I never saw Roseanne or home improvement when they first came out. I was an NBC girl and didn't watch much on ABC. Now I'm the exact opposite. I only record one NBC show (Super store- it's hilarious and I can relate since I don't work at Walmart).
I will say this about the Roseanne show- past and present- it is actually a more accurate representation of USA families, both then (1990s) and now, than say... the round up.

LOL DW
No, I came across as snippety and I didn't mean to.
I'm sure it is a good representation of the average American family.
I didn't hate it, but I don't much like American sitcoms which is funny? because my all time favourite (American) comedy is Seinfeld. I still piss myself if I watch it. We always watch 'Festivus' on Xmas day LOL. It's the only Xmas day tradition we have. haha.
Oh we loved Earl!!! so there you go- there's another one..:)

I suspect Mr Penny could get his name in the Guiness Book Of Records for the number of times he has watched 'The Battle Of Britain'

I'm interested in watching Roseanne now. I do think that one of the main reasons the original was a success was Sarah Gilbert. She played a great part. Love her.
Weird, but I think Roseanne looks younger than she did the first time around.

I had a very short dream that there was a German shepherd in front of the store I was going into, and it vacuously viscously viciously chased me back to my truck.
Tonight I was going into a store, and noticed a lab mix. Watching me.
I avoided eye contact lol. Just in case it was a mixed up premonition.

I had way too much to dream yesterday.
It was all very strange and vivid. I will share the end of the dream:
There was a blonde lady at some type of boutique/gift shop (specifically on 101 City Drive, Orange Ca)- I told her I am dreaming, this isn't real. She asked if she was dreaming, too. I told her I don't think so and I'm going to wake up now. I woke up and was lying on the floor of the kitchen of a house I rented in 1989. (So I was still dreaming), and then my ex roommate (but not from 1989) tapped me on the shoulder and told me to wake up...
Then I woke up for real, in my bed with warm dogs trying to take over the bed. I was in a cold sweat (didn't have the heater on) and it felt like the dream lasted longer than a movie. I also felt a little gypped because there was no popcorn.

It's weird when you dream things that you know that wouldn't be possible.. does make you wonder how/why our subconscious creates these scenarios.
I toss and turn abit at night, moan and groan but don't have any recollection later of what I've been dreaming about. I did used to have a lot of dreams where I could remember what went on.. mostly one when you're glad you wake up and it's not real.

I used to sleep walk. That's scary. Twice I was found trying to get out of the house. God knows where I was going.

One of my sisters used to sleepwalk when we were kids. Us three girls shared a bedroom and my sister would get out of bed and go sit on the other sister's bed. This usually ended with the sister in bed waking up and screaming, which, in turn, woke up the sleepwalker who also screamed which made my mum come running but she didn't scream. I just curled up in my bed and cried. I cried a lot when I was a kid.
I've been having weird dreams lately. Cats, babies and men, all jumbled up and in various houses [that I don't know but do in the dreams].

i've had 2 dreams so far about an old boyfriend i haven't thought about in years...first one we were talking on the phone , he was calling me from seoul, where he was stationed at the time we broke up. he wanted to know if i'd be home for christmas, and i was trying to get him to understand that my parents died while he was there, and i got married and moved to kansas. he kept telling me that he had just talked to them a week ago.. the second one, we were playing ice hockey on long pond like when we were in high school and just friends, and he fell through the ice. this actually DID happen our sophomore year, and me and my friends got him out. this time, in the dream, he got himself out and left..just skated away. very strange.

My most memorable boyfriend dream happened not long after my marriage. I dreamed I was at a party and an ex boyfriend came up and asked me to go out with him again. I said "I can't I'm married now" He asked me which of the blokes there was my husband and I looked around at the collection of drunks and no-hopers and thought: OMG which of these dropkicks am I married to? You have no idea what a relief it was to wake up and find Mr Penny sleeping sweetly by my side.

Crazy nonsensical dreams kept me up all day.
At one point I was driving the 1970s family station wagon on its side. I was surprised I wasn't afraid of falling out the open window. Even more surprising was how smooth the ride was.

I used to have a reoccurring dream that I was in a bus going up a huge hill that was vertical. I was always scared we would topple over backwards, but we never did.

I have the reoccurring vertical hill (sometimes mountain and one time a map -literally driving on a paper map) dream!
I fear sliding down, but more fear is about what will happen when I get to the top. Is it straight down on the other side? I've never made it to the top.

Ha! DW
I haven't made it to the top either, I wake myself up before I get there.
I haven't been remembering my dreams the last little while. *touch wood lol, no nightmares!*
