not the walls themselves, but there IS a picture of the beach at race point( the very tip of cape cod) taken from the top of the old lighthouse, how weird is that???? the walls are pale blue with a sponge overlay.

Ava, I think you have a small version of ESP.
It happens to me every once in a while. I think about or dream about someone from the past and they manage to pop into my life a short time later.
Although once, I had a dream about an old friend who I vowed to never speak to again. In the dream they were outside my bedroom window at my dad's house. We were adult versions of ourselves. They were calling out my name. It was a short two minute dream, but I called them the next day. Ugh. It took forever to get them off the phone, they had not been thinking about me, nor wishing for contact... and I remembered why I vowed to never speak to them again. ๐

I was reading page one about the being engulfed in water dream, and I had something like that the other night.....It was really weird the way it started because it should have been a good dream......I was in this large lake side house with a prow front over looking the lake....And the house had several levels to it....And it started off really interesting because there was like this group of women staying at the house and they were all taking a shower and running around naked.....
Now normally, you'd think that would be a good situation, right? Well....it's weird how I felt in the dream because it wasn't sexual, so much as there was a sense of concern and anxiety for these nude women and girls running around in their bath towels....It was more like I was an observer at first, rather than a participant.....
So then, through the big plate glass window over looking that lake....I see something impact off in the distance.....Like when an iceberg calves into the water, and you see the big disturbance quite a ways a way....So the first thought was; I'm glad that happened so far away. We won't be affected by the wave.....BUT, then the wave starts getting closer and closer, and the lake level starts rising......and suddenly, it's about 100 yards off and the size of a tsunami now....And I'm thinking....WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE, IT'S GOING TO HIT.....
And sure enough, it's up to the roof and breaking through the big window front.....So my concern now is getting all the ladies out of the house, but they're taking their time getting dressed....So I'm yelling...WE DON'T HAVE TIME......
And then suddenly, the dream switches to where all the women have left and made it out, but I'm stuck inside as the water is up to my neck and I'm the one who is naked now.....I can't seem to find my own clothes, and then my thoughts are on my computer....I've got to save my computer.....!.......So, I finally make it out just as the roof is collapsing in, and there's snow on the road, and I'm wearing like underwear and a T-shirt.....There's a jeep waiting telling me to get in, but I say....just wait a minute, I have to go get some clothes.....So I rush back in and wade through the water, but by the time I come out, the jeep is left, and I'm all alone, freezing and wet.......All my possessions have been lost...
What do you think it means Dr. Freud?

LOL.. Maybe you have an inner fear of climate change.. Apart from that, I'm not even going to try and analyse your dream
Good you can remember it though.. On the rare occasions that I have a dream or a nightmare... I never remember them

I often have almost premonition dreams now, but not about anything important really. For instance I had a dream about seeing cake types of biscuits in the supermarket one night and the next day ex came back with an assortment of new biscuits that looked like my dream ones. I don't even buy biscuits but he buys his own goodies. I had another one which was just before I woke up on Friday morning and I woke up with a start. It was about when someone I knew years ago took his kid to work. He worked as a green keeper on a golf course. Somehow his son came off the mower and was hit and he ended up having his legs amputated. Horrible, and I have no idea why I would dream about it out of the blue.
Anyway, when I drove back home on Friday afternoon, my neighbour was mowing his verge and was holding his little grandson sitting on his knee. I felt really sick about it. Nothing happened but it's just weird that I had that dream in the morning.

cy, has a woman you used to care for died recently, by any chance? I haven't had anything like that happen....but there was the feeling that, it was my job to protect these naked ladies, and then ending up the one being naked and in the position of having to be protected....It was a dream full of complex irony, the type that makes you wonder how your subconsciousness could invent such meaningful things...Do you ever wake up wondering....How did my mind come up with that stuff? Where did those thoughts come from? It's almost like they were being entered into the brain from some outside source...

it was a longshot. let me think on it a bit, and please continue posting your processing your own interpretation, it always interests me to see how the person who asked for an interpretation actually works through it and what their conclusion is. if you're not comfortable with talking further about it, that's cool, i think we all want you to feel comfortable here!

and in response to your question, yes, definitely. i had a dream the other night that a friend who passed away last year bought the house next door to me and moved in. she didn't look like she did in real life, but i KNEW it was her, and she knew i knew. i kept trying to tell our other friends that our friend was back and just fine, she just looked different, and so did she. nobody believed us, and several people got really mad at us and stormed away. that made us really sad, that they wouldn't believe us. so she left town and sold the house to strangers , it was very strange.

I'm very comfortable talking about it because I think the subconscious mind is a fascinating place...and yes, I guess I suppose I did already reach a conclusion about what it meant before asking for an interpretation.....but, I could be wrong as well....Sometimes we don't even know what makes our own subconscious tick.....Anxiety at work or something, or with family, or hidden fears and insecurities, may manifest in dreams in unusual ways.....Fear of non acceptance or fear of rejection for example may result in a dream about going to school naked.....only to find out halfway through the day that you'd forgotten to wear clothes....LOL.....That's a good one! Classic!......
Often, I'll have that school dream where I've forgotten where my classes are, and I'm going to flunk a test because I've missed most of the months in class because I couldn't find it.....There's another classic insecurity dream. I know that, for me, it stems from a fear of being disorganized or unprepared for trading......(which is what I'm currently doing for income)....
My big fear is not preparing enough and being caught off guard, and losing a ton of money because I didn't take the time to research because I was busy talking about toilets on message boards...

I dreamt last week that our eldest daughter died from a brain aneurysm..............her head exploded. The funeral home made me paper mache her head back into shape before they would take her............and I couldn't get her nose right. every time I thought I had it right it would melt like icecream. Then the funeral home only had one spot for her funeral..............and that was the next morning. Her grandmother played up and said she wouldn't come to her funeral as she only goes to the ones she likes that are in the death notices in the paper............and I hadn't put any in for our daughter ............so how could she pick. I laughed at the dream.............because I obviously dreamt it because of crazy things going on in our lives at the moment and my mind twisted it all into another crazy dream.

That dream would totally freak me out Flashie.
My least favourite dreams are when you get up and get showered and dressed to do whatever you've got to do that day, and then you wake up for real and have to do it all over again.
I even cleaned the bathroom once because that was the plan, and then I woke up and couldn't be stuffed doing it for real.
I also don't like dreams where you are fighting with someone you really like. That's upsetting and it makes you feel not good about them for a short while. Luckily I don't have those dreams often, but it always makes me wonder.

True story. Last night I dreamt that I was doing someone's hair or makeup. I know exactly where that came from. It's because Sin mentioned doing her FX makeup recently. I can usually tell exactly where my dreams come from. Anyway, in my dream, I broke my makeup mirror and I was upset because that's supposed to be bad luck.
Today when I was driving to the supermarket, I had to slow down because there was a black cat wandering down the road. I had to stop because the silly thing decided to cross the road right in front of me.
I've broken a mirror and I've had a black cat cross my path so I'm going to be really careful tonight that I don't spill the salt while I'm cooking.

You can't always tell at first and then something will happen during the day it it will click why you had that dream. Any premonition dreams I've had were not worth having because it's usually nothing important and not something I could have controlled anyway. I've never dreamt up the lotto numbers.

I had the stupidest ever dream. I was in a maze of buildings and parking lots looking for my truck. I kept pressing the keyless lock gadget to listen for the beeps. Walking, searching, listening for beeps. Looking at my phone, checking the time. 3 hours went by. Then I remembered I had seen Mr Paul (why was he in my dream? He's an older man I know.. lol) singing in front of a lot that was under construction. I knew my truck was in the next lot over. So then I search for Mr Paul. I finally find him. Find the lot. Remember my truck was at the mechanic and I was in a rental. Go to check the time on my phone and realize I lost the phone. I said screw it and woke up. I woke up feeling exhausted. I kinda did the real life version of that....I fell asleep in my chair, studying charts on the internet, and when I woke up my wireless mouse was gone....It was most likely in my hand when I fell asleep....I've searched everywhere....I'm talking now by using the touch-pad on my laptop computer, but my mouse is still nowhere to be found. It's almost supernatural. I've checked under cushions, everywhere.....Where could it get off to? Is is cavorting with my hamster?

I'm glad I documented this....I've been searching for my mouse for hours.....still haven't found it....I remember using it, scrolling through charts, just as I drifted off to sleep....When I woke up, it was gone.....just flat out vanished....I've checked everywhere, the garbage, the fridge.....The most unusual places an insane person might put a mouse.....But it's just nowhere....I've lost keys before...I've lost remote controls....but there was always an explanation...In this case, if say, it dropped out of my hand as a lost consciousness, it wouldn't have far to go, and yet, it's completely gone!!! If I don't find this thing, it will haunt me for the rest of my life.....It's completely impossible for it to have gone somewhere and hid itself, and yet.....somehow it did.....Just no explanation.

I don't have a cat, but I have a parrot......and so, I suspected her for awhile because she had a suspicious look on her beak.....BUT, I found no evidence of the crime.....I still have found no trace of that mouse.....It was maybe abducted by space alienz.....

I dropped a tiny ceramic crab in the kitchen once. I had just taken pictures of it to sell on eBay. It was maybe about the size of a quarter.
I searched. My roommate searched. I reenacted the drop with a quarter over and over again.
11 years later and the tiny crab has still not resurfaced.

I really do think there are supernatural forces at work with things like that....I think the wee people stole your crab....Something the size of a quarter makes sense though, but a wireless mouse is the size of the palm of my hand....I mean that's fairly big.....And I know I was using it and had it in my hand when I drifted off to sleep in my chair...(It's a bad habit I've gotten into now...I'll stay up most of the night and I'm alert in the morning hours, but in the afternoon I'll crash for awhile, but I've got that voice in my head that tells me it's bad to go sleep in a bed during the day...I was always made to feel guilty as a kid if I dared sleep during the day because days are for working...Nights are for sleeping.....But I screwed up that "normal" sleep cycle during college and years of driving trucks....and then trading kept me up all night, so I've never developed normal sleep patterns, except the guilt trip ingrained in me as a kid that you don't go to bed during the day....So what happens is that I end up drifting off to sleep in a chair in the afternoons..
And speaking of dreams, I was having a pretty good dream as well......but when I woke, the mouse that was in my hand just was gone....vanished into nothingness....I really need to solve this mystery if it's the last thing I do....I basically tore that chair apart,...inspected every part of it, and there's just no where for it to go.....I even considered the possibility of sleep walking....I checked the cupboards...I checked the fridge....I checked the icebox.....I checked the oven....I checked my shoes...(maybe it dropped into one of my shoes...I checked every possible inch of my place.....(even the fire place).....and no mouse.......It's impossible....
