Anyone having "end of the world" dreams? The other night, I had one that was frighteningly realistic and terrifying....I'm sure all the feelings I would have if I knew I was about to die were triggered......In the dream I was with a group of people, and we were looking out over a mountainous landscape, when suddenly, off in the distance there was a massive explosion.....Like watching a volcano go off....And I turned to someone as if reciting a bit of trivia and I said something like..."Say, you know one of those things is like several times the power of a nuclear explosion"....Just then, a much larger explosion occurred, and I though....Oh, geez, that's many times the previous one......but it's still a far ways off and I have nothing to worry about.....And then the ultimate world ending explosion happened that dwarfed the first two....and I could see the cloud of fire and debris heading our way, and I yelled....RUN.....RUN....(as if that would help).....
Then, as I was about to die, I woke up....heart racing cold sweat.....

That sounds quite distressing and would make me worried about going to sleep again. Hopefully, whatever triggered it off will pass and it doesn't happen again.

I dreamt that my son was mixing with the wrong crowd at school. The kids reacted lovely when treated with kindness and respect except for my son and the ringleader. I was trying to work out strategies that would get through to them.
I don't have a son.

I had a huge end of the world dream in my 20s.
It had everything- the White House, aliens, holograms, people getting swept off the face of the earth from a gravitational pull... I can still see people hanging onto things for dear life. Big booming voice from the sky- don't be afraid, we will not hurt you...
Then at the end I was a can can dancer and there was a whole song that rhymed, we were on a huge stage- but couldn't see who was in the audience. I only remember the last line of the song was 'why can't we get a share of the taking'.
LOL. It was the best dream I've ever had.

My dream from my last sleep-
A faceless random stranger asked me if I wanted a bag of weed, I said sure.
He hands it to me and it's super quality grade, like medical marijuana... but it's not enough to roll a joint.
Oh well, it was free.
I was thinking I could smoke it in a bong. If I had a bong.
I woke up.
No weed. No bong. 😩
Not the worst. The worst is when I dream about food and just as I'm about to take a bite...
I wake up.

are you physically okay, cy? i had dreams like that when my body was trying to kill me, before my surgeries.... I'm physically fine....I was just wondering if anyone else was having dreams like that. I'm sort of a believer in psychic premonitions....Sometimes, we tap into the mass unconscious, and see upcoming events...like before 9-11, many people were having dreams of aircraft flying into buildings....I was having all sorts of dreams like that at the time... |

That brings to mind one of my favorite dreams now that I've mentioned a scary one.....My favorite dream is the endless house dream.....Usually it starts off where I'm going through a new log home under construction, and somehow, I know this is to be my house....And it's perfect, just surprising things everywhere I look....I keep discovering new rooms....Rooms with cathedral ceilings, and beautiful river rock fireplaces.....Kitchens with granite counter tops....There's just a feeling of richness and luxury...I'm just in complete peace, knowing that this is all mine....My special place...There's this feeling of permanence and inspiration...I can't even describe it....Like this is where I belong....
And then I wake up and think....wow...I better get started making that happen for real....and when I find that perfect place, I'll try to recall how the dream made me feel....
It sorta has the feel of this place..

Ok, this one gave me chills because someone did a Yellowstone super volcano eruption simulation, and THIS, looks exactly like my dream...In fact, I think I channeled this....Wow!

I wonder if my dream was about this.....Something large out in space like a giant asteroid, about to impact Earth? In which case, let me just say that it was nice knowing Miss Skunky and friends....

The hologram bit was particularly trippy Cydonia
There was a beach and a little boy frantically looking for his Mum..'Muuum Muum', next thing Mum is in the water saying 'I'm here come to me'...so he walked in the water and drowned. Mum wasn't real, it was just a trick to kill him. lol.
