oh, the salt mill was even worse, back when miles was alive, and strangely was still a kitten. i was informed in no uncertain terms that this stuff needed to leave THEIR floor NOW, it gets stuck in the pawpads, and how do you expect me take a BATH,mama??? * it was truly funny watching them trying to shake the salt out, i am so MEAN!*

What annoys me is when you purchase something online and safe drop is not an option but Australia apparently made a safe drop at 7.45 am yesterday, however, the parcel is nowhere to be found. GRRRRRRRR

Ava, same thing happened here although I don't mind safedrop. I just couldn't find where it had been dropped. I rang the PO and the person was able to view the area from a photo and I was able to find it from there.

I don't mind safe drop, either, but it was not supposed to happen with this delivery, it even says so on the tracking info. They could have rung the doorbell or left it on the doorstep - which is supposed to be my safe drop spot. Hopefully, it'll be sorted sooner rather than later. Or, not.

Fingers crossed they haven't 'dropped' it at the wrong house.

We had a delivery made yesterday while I was home. It was some wine for himself. I asked the delivery guy if I neede to sign for it, he said “no, you weren’t home so I left it on the doorstep and don’t need a signature”. I was a little taken aback at that 😏

That would go down well especially if it was sitting in the sun.

i was trying to find a clip of aust post person throwing a parcel up onto a second floor deck, it missed the first time, so he threw it up again....there are lots of clips of them throwing packages around....i have posted only a few fragile items, all the padding that has to be used ups the size of the box and therefore the price

When we lived in Kalgoorlie I spotted our postman trying to throw an envelope that wouldn't fit into the mailbox onto the front veranda - the wind caught it and blew it up onto the roof. Luckily he knew I'd seen him so he had to climb up there and retrieve it.

That's terrible, penny.
maggie..the clips of posties throwing parcels are shocking. One where the receiver had a long, high up, concrete deck with steps up to it, so he just threw the parcel up there from inside their gate.
They're in the wrong job.
We have a good Aust Post delivery guy here. Our house is well off the street and the front door area can't be seen from the street.
One very small parcel (boxed paper label rolls) the postie on a bike delivered recently..he rode up near the front door and threw it..just as I opened the front door. I guess, he guessed it wasn't breakable.

deep sigh of frustration....i am NOT happy with curtis's heart doctor's office staff right now. SIX phonecalls today, just to try to make sure the financial paperwork is in order so i can make an appointment for him to do the in office pacemaker check that isn't even with the doctor!!! and i STILL couldn't schedule it! gggrrr....if i don't get results with the 10am call tomorrow, i'm jumping on the bus and they can deal with me personally. this is seriously peeving me!

Life should not be so complicated, Sin.
Aust. Post sent me a photo of where the parcel was left. It isn't my house and I don't recognise it, either.

At least with AP delivery persons now having to take a photo of the parcel at the property they left it at, in this case that proves they misdelivered it.. and they are responsible?

dear higher powers, thank you for having leslie come back from vacation today! 5 minutes on the phone, paperwork is in order, appointment is set up, and his schedule for the next 6 at home checks is in the mail. i told her she can't retire, EVER. she laughed, fortunately!
