I used to always have dreams like that, Duff, but they have changed since using the cap machine. Exhausting to always be on edge - day and night. Fortunately, meds usually knock me out but there are nights when the brain is racing out of control, going off on one tangent, then another, then another and yet another, over and over until it loops around back to the start. Then it becomes a case of rinse and repeat.
One of my oldest and dearest friends is a selftaught muso. There is no musical instrument that he can't master in a short amount of time. The violin took a bit longer, though, and there were times when it didn't sound sweet but he improved and improved until eventually he made that violin sing. He mostly plays Celtic folk songs. I'd love it whenever he played. So many good memories.

They reckon we're not born a natural at anything. But to me some people ARE just naturals.
The Feds (Roger Federer) you would say he's a natural born tennis player, he's so pretty to watch ( I think he would have been a great ballroom dancer) but he was an average player to start with and just did nothing else but train, and train and train. Now he's the best tennis player the world has seen.

I got crap sleep again today. Third day in a row.
Today was Crockett's fault for barking. Maybe I should give HIM the sleeping pill.
Same appx time of waking up, between 5 and 6. Maybe the farmer is out there and it's a coincidence that I had bad dreams.
When I lay there for 3 hours I drifted in and out of stupid dreams. It was like I was awake, but I had to have been asleep to dream. The two I remember Not having enough money at the grocery store And Visiting the coast with my blanket and then losing my blanket. And every time I tried to take a picture with my phone people walked in front of me and ruined the shot.
I'm so tired and today is a long workday.

Duffy I think some people really are born naturals.
I had been taking piano lessons from 1st grade into JR high. A new student was put into the time slot before mine. I would listen to him while waiting my turn. Within 2 months he went from beginner to something that I was never going to be. I sucked. lol.
I talked to the teacher, and she was able to convince my parents that this was as far as I was ever going to go. And that was that.

I get sick of dreaming. Some nights I don't but most of the time I do. I hate those frustrating ones like the blanket photo dream DW. It's like you just keep trying but it never works out lol and you wake up exhausted haha

I call them my frustration dreams
Why would I take my blanket to the beach? Frustrating Why would I lose it? Frustrating
Why am I told the washing machine is broken when it's not? Frustrating Why am I short at the store? Frustrating
Other common stupid dreams- I can't find my vehicle Frustrating I can't remember my (hs dream) classes Frustrating I can't remember my locker combination Frustrating
I can't dial a number on my phone Frustrating I can't find my house Frustrating I can see money in a drain or ______(fill in the blank) but I can't reach it Frustrating
I think I'm frustrated. 😛

I really really really really hate
Food dreams And romantic dreams
I'm dreaming about some delicious food and I wake up... Ugh
Or I've met the perfect man and I wake up Ugh
Although lately the man dreams have a new twist ~ I'm trying to convince him (whoever he is - always unknown) that this is all wrong... I haven't shaved, or I'm feeling fat, or I'm wearing the wrong clothes, or I want to brush my teeth lololololol

What annoys me most today is that my body refuses to do what I want it do.

Nothing worse than cutting into a black one. I make a habit of always having two on hand in case the first one is a fail.

I'm annoyed that the nectarine tree is in full bloom and the next few nights will be below freezing.
Because of the crazy winters for the last few years I haven't had a nectarine for well... a few years.

to say that this annoys me is the understatement of the century wouldn't you think that the police have more important activities than to trick and harass old people......these people had been at a meeting where they discuss their fears of their futures...... of nursing homes and total dependence on others.........they were stopped at an RBT in order to get their private information, then followed up and harassed in their own homes

what ensued was that the woman, Suzy Austin, whose home was where the meeting was held, was charged with assisting a suicide, there was a trial, and all she was charged with was importation of a controlled substance (which she had for her own use)
it is surprising because NZ seems to be far more advanced in such issues than we are here.....suicide is not illegal, but assisting a suicide is, but they were stretching the law in this case, nobody assisted anyone
but as i said, surely there are more important crimes for them to chase up instead of searching the homes of old people who have the right to make their own decisions on life and death

I plan on taking a trip to Switzerland if/when life becomes intolerable... but also hope to die at age 95.
When the quality of life is gone, I have no interest in quantity. We should be able to choose when the time is right.

It would give me a lot of comfort to know I had the option, even if I never actually wanted or needed to use it.

A very real topic for us right now. I wish there was some other way for MiL to go rather than starving to death.
