lent? nuh-uh, no giving up. instead i decided to TAKE something up, so i will eat some sort of fish once a week until the spring equinox. i figure a couple of tuna sammies- barri style , maybe some fish sticks, and a mickey D's filet-o-fish should get me through until then, lol! i detest fish,so MY sacrifice is eating it. it'ss save a chicken or 2... snicker... what do you do with the tuna? i have inherited lots of it and need a good sandwich recipe, sick of the one i use
aldi borrowed my kitchen to make this ad
oh, MY tuna is terrifically boring, lol! it MUST be albacore in water only, well drained and with only enough miracle whip to stick it together. gotta be on white bread, with a ton of potato chips on it and on the side. but i DO have a few other recipes for canned tuna i can post in moono's kitchen, if you like. for example, the dreaded "school cafeteria tuna casserole"!

It makes me wonder what happened to the $95,000 I've saved but my life is better. I spend my pocket money on clothes and lunches with friends and sisters and not being terrified that I would run out of smokes before I could get to the shops in the morning. I loved smoking and I missed it, still do on occasion, but so glad I gave it up.

MINE
2018 taught me I am tougher than I gave myself credit for.
2019 is testing that.
So in 2019 I am going to say "NO" more often.
Pfffft.........who was I kidding...........if our children or grandchildren ask for something we all know I will say yes.
I don't "need" to please everyone............in fact it is impossible to do.
Hmmmmmm..........I still don't need to..............but I like to.
I am also going to try and concentrate on accepting that sometimes things "are what they are"...........I cant change them
Yep!

I adopted Kays NYR: to enjoy each day as it comes, and if it happens to be a bit crappy just let it go.
So far, I think I'm doing pretty well.

Been pissed off for two days and weaving past experience into it for good measure. Still it is a great goal...
