I said a month or more ago they should cancel the NYE fireworks and put the
money into the bush and the fireries. There must be plenty of outdoor venues
where they could hold concerts with Aussie artists.

Himself and I were talking about the NYE fireworks recently and reckon there must be some clever light and sound people around who could produce the same kind of spectacle without the use of gunpowder. |

it just gets worse and worse Maggie... now they're saying the conditions are going to be worse than on last Monday.. and Vic is now declared a state of emergency as well.
all is calm in melb atm though.. but we do have that smoky air back ( not as bad as Canberra though)
