You don't say. I said in conversation a couple of weeks ago that I believed the Libs would have a look at franking credits and negative gearing too if they got in. They just didn't think of it themselves.

Over twenty suicide attempts - hanging, cutting, swallowing needles, self-immolation, overdose etc - since our federal election, with many in critical condition. This is what was feared and , as I have said in the past, there will be deaths. Well done, selfish Australians for not voting out our shitty government when the opportunity was there.

it's interesting that raid on the newscorp journo.. she lives with a liberal staffer and I'm wondering if he is her "contact" and could explain why they raided her home and not her office
newscorp are crying foul even though it was them that encouraged these laws... I'm pretty sure I saw them celebrating when the AFP raided union offices

I'm sure they'll sort it out one way or another Maggie. The media are just going on and on about it. I don't recall the mediademanding that Abbott or Alan Jones be sacked or stood down after all the mysoganist comments they made.

What are they going to do to protect the finches? The great Artesian Basin provides water to agricultural country throughout QLD and NSW. The NSW areas are already experiencing lower water tables from the prolonged drought. Mines should never be allowed in areas where there is a risk to the ground water.
