Happy Polling Day for tomorrow everyone.
I can't wait till Scummy has to come out and admit defeat. I'll be watching and laughing.

That’s the thing isn’t it? Politics has become so toxic, and the community so fractured, and our media of choice so biased (either way), it’s almost impossible to guess which way things will go.
I just saw something on the news saying that some huge percentage have pre polled in a seat near us. I reckon I might be home by 6:30 tomorrow, after we count the 5 ballot papers we’ll get on the day 😂. All you early voters are going to do me out of my one day a year job 😂

No early morning call from Cory this morning. Thank god for that! ABC 24 have a countdown clock to the closing of the polls.

Australia Votes. This mob have done nothing but follow Morrison around and air his little speeches. The smirking jerk is looking very confident.

' the one where I voted didnt have that particular sign though

I'll probably cry myself to sleep in the fetal position.
Jokes aside, there aren't enough words to describe how disappointed I am.

Me too Duffy but we will live on. I've supported Bill Shorten but he is so unpopular something has to change. The franking credits didn't work and Libs played on it.

Shit, damn and blast! I am so disappointed in people in this country. Seems selfishness has won again 😢
It was a bloody long day - 7am until 10pm. I’ll be telling people to “number at least 1-6 above the line OR at least 1-12 below the line” in my sleep for about a week I reckon.
Re the paper rolls, all I think when people mention that is The Census. I sure as heck don’t want to be sitting behind my desk, with a queue of people out the door, when the system crashes!

Question for you joono seeing you’re up and about still. Do you wait to see what’s happening in the eastern states before you vote or just do your own thing? Is it busy in the booths in the last 2 hours after the east has closed and numbers are starting to come in?

I'm guilty Kay. I got kicked off the electoral roll about 35 years ago. I moved to another state and being a child immigrant I was booted off and can't get back on unless I take citizenship. Something I don't intend to do. As a rule though, most people here get out and vote early because they've already made up their minds and also because so far the WA vote has never changed the outcome.

That’s a bummer. I got on because being a NZer when I arrived was enough. I took citizenship about 15 years ago so had no trouble when I moved from ACT to NSW.
Thanks for your answer. Interesting.
