In just one week, Woolworths, the Red Cross Blood Bank and my house have computer failures. Coincidence? I think not 🤔

that Safeway one was unreal... luckily I'd already done my shopping that morning. From the news footage it looked like everyone just left their loaded trolleys for the staff to put away... I noticed Safeway was incredibly busy yesterday, de to the outage the previous day
we haven't signed up for NBN yet... been pressured alot though, we have until May next year

Transcript of phone call #1 *sigh* I fear this has potential to become a lengthy saga
Me: Our modem seems to be dead. Operator: I just need to verify your account. Is Mr XXXX there please? M: No he’s out for the day. O: I cannot speak with you without his verification. M: But you always have before. I’m the only person in this household that ever speaks to you. O: His is the billing name. I cannot speak with you without his verification. M: (thinking: bloody hell, another day wasted) That seems ridiculous when it hasn’t been a problem before. O: I cannot speak with you without his verification. M: Ok. Thanks for not helping. I’ll call back when he’s home so you can speak with me then. O: Thankyou. Have a nice day (I may have made that last bit up) M: [click] aaagggghhhhhhhh 😫

Centrelink has a massive glitch too. Mr Penny got locked out when he tried to update our assets and investments account. He's spent hours both in their office and on the phone trying to get hem to sort it out. they've finally admitted its an IT problem and their latest attempt at fixing it is that while they have finally managed to update our fixed term deposits records they have lost all details of my personal savings account. Mr Penny is tearing his hair out - I keep telling him it's not his problem any longer and to leave it up to them to sort out, but he is a micro-manager and a bit OCD and just can't let it go.

I was just talking over my day with OH and I’ve come to the conclusion that they probably did fix my problem. I suspect the woman I was talking to could see something was wrong but had her script to follow. So she said all the right things, which would have been recorded, while at the same time fixing whatever was wrong. The coincidence seems to great otherwise.

My high cholesterol is caused by the mood stabiliser that I take. When I was not taking it, a year or so ago, my cholesterol levels dropped to a healthy level. Unfortunately, the drug that I switched to didn't work out so I had to start taking the previous one again and my cholesterol went up.

hmm cholestrol I don't have high cholesterol, but my hubby does... so it's got nothing to do with our lifestyle.. hereditary factors are more in play there

I was born 2 hours after my twin. (I guess you could say I was born lazy) I think such a long gap is a bit unusual though, and probably wouldn't be allowed to happen today. They'd do something to hurry things along a bit.

Penny, drs more often than not don't let twins go full term now, there is a very high risk of one not surviving, often one is not getting enough nutrient...they usually bring on the birth at 38weeks
2 hours!!! lazy Penny, too comfortable in there were you
