I was going to mention that Fig. If no one buys one dim sim (I have a few times) then why are they individually priced. Sometimes the craving hits and it can be satisfied with one. Probably healthier than my chiko roll craving I get sometimes.

Me too. I buy them from woolies, and microwave them to thaw them, then cook them in the turbo oven. Yum. Every bit as good as deep fried, without the extra oil.

Occasional hot snacks are more appealing now that the weathers cooled down.

Walmart has 2 egg rolls for a dollar in the self serve deli section.
You can sauté them in a teaspoon of olive oil, or dry fry them, they come out crispy either way (although a bit more crispy if you use oil).
They do not include sauce. 😡

You can get more things in the US for a dollar than you can in Aust... higher wage rates here/higher prices/cost of living

I was stunned to see what you guys pay for gas.
A few months ago it was about $2 a gallon. Now it's $2.60 a gallon and everyone is upset.
I did the liter to gallon conversion, then the dollar conversion and found out
Gas in Australia is really expensive!

dawn, you'd have heart failure over what they pay for electricity, trust me. it scares me that WE could be hitting those prices soon if trump doesn't take his head out and start acting like a grownup.

I did the liter to gallon conversion, then the dollar conversion and found out Gas in Australia is really expensive! We pay much more for everything (than you do in the U.S.) our cost of living is really high and our wages are much higher than you'rs too the Govt. Here is trying to drive wages down, i don't know how people are supposed to live if they do. Sin our stupid Govts sold our infrastucture to foreign buyers... Our electricity providers are mainly Chinese companies.. They overcharge and all the money they get from us goes off-shore Australia has plenty of oil and gas.. But we longer own any of it... Our gas is sold much cheaper to China than what we have to pay for it

I got gas for $2.54. I saw a station wanting $2.68.
Another wanted $2.49 but the goofy station closes at 10pm and doesn't have pay at the pump.

The first time I had awareness of gasoline it was 45 cents a gallon. It was the 1970s and we had odd and even days. You were allowed to buy gas depending on the odd or even plate of your vehicle. Lines would wrap around for blocks. It would take an hour for it to be your turn. My folks were furious democrats.
40 years later they are furious republicans who believe in conspiracies.
I blame the gas crisis. By 1980 they were loving Reagan.

I remember when my brother in law used to only put $5 worth of petrol in his car, although you got a bit more for $5 than you do these days. This is back when we were young and they had little kids and times were tough. The number of times someone would be called out because he'd run out of petrol on his way home from work He used to always tell everyone that someone was siphoning the petrol out of his car at night.

Ha, thats a goodie.
I did have some petrol siphoned out of a car of mine (in a big supermarket carpark). Thought the fuel went down a bit too fast.. wasn't till I went to refill days later and the service station guy said.. you don't have a petrol cap that I realised what happened (in the days when staff put petrol in your car for you).

Geeze Figlet,
I now know everything there is to know about you... why did you post that PI?
I will say your caregiver is totally hot. Hubba hubba. I'm sorry your caregiver is currently dead and in jail. Then again, with that souped up wheelchair- who needs a caregiver?
