I've seen a few different one's on pinterest but I don't know if I have the stamina to give them a go now but then I still sew so maybe I would.
I only put up our small tree for Christmas as my large one bit the dust last year so will have to buy a new one for next Christmas.
I've said I'd never had a Cat destroy my Tree and in all the years I had mine they never went near it however a Toddler used to like pulling the baubles off which would result in me getting her to put them back on in the hopes it would deter her from it but she thought it was a game.
We recently had a foster kitty who has now gone to her furever home she didn't go near it to begin with but then got game and her little paws knocked some baubles off it.

My cats pulled off the fabric ornaments around the bottom and chewed off all the elastic hangers I had put on them. They always pull things off the bottom. Two years ago I had breakable ornaments on the tree and they broke about 5-6 of them. Last got a smaller tree and put it on a table. I didn't lose any of them.

Naughty kitties. I put our small one on a table this year but the kitty found her way up on to the table to knock some baubles off until I caught her in the act and put her back down on the floor.

It's down. I wish I had a small room that I could just shove the whole tree in there because it seems like I'll have to do it all again in the blink of an eye.

That tree is a lot like mine, Kay, but mine doesn't have the lights. I wish it did! One of the worst things is putting the lights on.

Yes, it would be good to wheel the decorated Christmas Tree into a spare bedroom and throw a bedsheet over it...till next time.
The trees with lights attached are expensive. I wonder how long (how many years) the lights would last for.

I suppose you could still throw other lights on them if they blow. My tree shed a lot this year. I'd say it's still got a couple of years in it but when it's looking too bare I'm going for a smaller one. One where I don't need to stand on a chair to put the star on top

I did extra fluffing on my tree this year and a lot more of the green bits fell off. Looked more gappy. I mentioned on Christmas Day I would like to get a new one. It is probably around 25 yrs old. The others said..Nah, it's alright. I'll still look at new Christmas trees when they're in stores again.

I wish mine did as well, I did watch a youtube tutorial once on how to put the lights on and the way it was done was way to fiddly time consuming for me so I just wrap them around a few times seems easier that way.
I wouldn't mind a Balsam Hill one but I don't fancy the prices.
That one has lights on it though, I wouldn't mind it but as I said I don't fancy the prices

I threw our Christmas tree out this year. I bought it on Market place for $6.00...........but it was yellowing a bit. I figured I got my moneys worth. I will just get another one. Egulch............I have made some of the no-sew fabric balls................I love doing them.........they are fiddly but easy to do. Pepe.............I tried the fabric balls you make...........BUT..........the styrofoam DOES squeak. What do you use as your cutting tool...............and tucking tool. The ones I made look good.........and I want to make more..............if I can sort out the squeaking.....
