How sad.
I don't think people charged with killing people when they're driving a car wilfully/dangerously/drug affected get long enough sentences.
There was a young man here who died when driving home from his evening job. He was hit by a woman driver. speeding (177kmph) deliberately, on the wrong side of the road (hoon). Affected by drugs. She may not be fit to plead due to her injuries.
Some of these dangerous drivers seem to get only around 5 years, which is pretty poor. Family without their loved ones forever.

I think he'll get a lot more than that for murdering a police constable. That's the charge he's up against.

Unbelievably horrific, Lyn. 😢 So many lives lost, plus those with injuries. Can't imagine the horror of a crash like that one.
My daughter hired a bus to pick up the wedding guests from the ceremony venue and driving them down the hill to the reception.
joono - some just get charged with manslaughter, a lighter sentence. Very good that man is being charged with murder.

I’ve been on a few hired bus rides to and from wedding venues and just can’t imagine how the joy and fun they would have all been enjoying would have changed into horror and terror so quickly. Just ghastly thinking about it.
And the trauma for that poor (I assume) young couple. Not sure how any marriage could survive that.

Yes. They did the same with the Claremont serial killer. They followed their initial suspect for years and even parked outside his house for ages.
They did destroy his life and he died of cancer.

I think the foster mother was the only one in their street that had the opportunity to do something untoward. Police investigated a lot of other people, local and further away.
The foster mother got in her mother's car and claimed she drove for several km's then decided William wouldn't have gone that far so she drove back to the house. That was before her husband returned to the house I think. Why she took her mothers car.
William was only 3 years old, he'd never get that far.
On one news site I was looking at yesterday (maybe Daily Mail) there was a video with the late grandma showing a reporter around the house/lawn and giving details of what the family were doing that morning and the timing before William disappeared.

Our recently divorced mom of 10 neighbor decided she needed a killer dog for protection.
Walking by their house it and the two other mutts she has attacked our dog… the child in charge(14 years old let them out)…
Had she and my wife not broke up the fight they kill our dog.
Idiot BF storms into my yard when he gets home and informs me this must stop…lol
That his daughter was hurt…
Ok asshole get out of my fucking yard…
Since then their dogs have gone to the other neighbors yard and attacked their dog… 7,000 in vet bills in two attacks…
So now this and the other dog(one of the three I think they just dropped at the pound) are on chains 24/7. They come home and leave the dogs chained…
Dogs yap constantly as they are beyond miserable…
The animal cruelty and stupidity is mind blowing

The bodies of Luke Davies and Jesse Baird have been found. This is so sad. I know Jesse Baird from his appearances on tv and he seemed to be such a lovely person.
