Muggsy told me that he grabbed it and ripped it's head off and threw it under the table. Kids were crying when they saw it. There must be some way that he can be charged.

From link
'Mr Williamson said it was also important to consider his client was a "bushy", and he had information relating to Kevin's previous behaviour at the Parkerville Tavern.'
wtf, it's neither here nor there if he's a 'bushy'. And just LOL at him having information on Kevin
Dickhead.

A right d/h.
A 'bushy' in the city still has to behave in an acceptable way.

Isn't this the scariest thing. Man pleads guilty to stalking and controlling ex-girlfriend's car with his computer www.abc.net.au/news/2019-11-06/ract-employee-pleads-guilty-to-using-app-to-stalk-ex-girlfriend/11678980The last part of the story really concerns me. "The offender's lawyer will make her submissions on the type of sentence he should reive when the case comes back before the court in December, but she successfully applied for him to be assessed for his suitability for a community-based sentencing order." That's not good enough. Along with the stalking, he broke into her home and frightened the life out of her while she was sleeping. He needs jail time.

It doesn't seem fair, and I'm not in any way condoning what he did, but the problem is kookaburras, unlike kangaroos and quokkas, are not indigenous to WA and can pose a threat to native species. So they are not protected under WA law.

Native birds are protected in Tasmania but kookaburras are not, though there is no eradication program. While they were brought in to eat snakes, kookaburras also eat native lizards and affect native birds.
While European colonisation has caused the loss of many native bird species, settlers also introduced many species. ... The Kookaburra was introduced in 1897 to control snake numbers. Although successful, it also preyed upon other native species, threatening their numbers. Laughing Kookaburra in Armadale, Perth

Old know nothing Not harsh enough penalty, but at least he didn't get away without any punishment. The $2,500 fine is the maximum for the offence of “unlawful take of fauna”.
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions said it was the first time a person had been fined the maximum amount for the offence since new laws came into force on 1 January.

An enraged man who violently shook his newborn baby until he had traumatic brain injuries because he was 'not manly enough' was given six years' jail for it on Friday.
Victorian County Court Judge David Brookes imposed the prison term as part of a compound sentence including other violent crimes, saying the baby was lucky not to have been killed.
James Tipene, 33, from New Zealand, shook the five-week-old baby boy unconscious in a rage after he cried, waking him up in the early hours of June 26 last year.
unfortunately, this is not too rare
