Except for the fact that we’ve been down this road so many times before, this would be unbelievable. The Minister for Aged Care doesn’t know how many people under his departments care are sick or have died. What an absolute disgrace

Just as an aside, I worked with Katy Gallaghers mum once upon a time. It’s not hard to tell she’s her mother’s daughter 👏

Edit..just realised that it was an older post I was replying to here. Pauline's challenge to make QLD open its borders did fizzle out. Did she not even file the High Court challenge? Now she's spreading misinformation about covid19 vaccines. Found this... July 22 Clive Palmer-backed court challenge to Queensland Covid-19 border closure "High court bid also supported by Pauline Hanson and claiming ban infringed constitution ditched after border reopening and talks with state government.
Two high court cases seeking to overturn the Queensland border closure backed by Clive Palmer and Pauline Hanson’s One Nation have been dropped."

To quote an old Music Hall song: It's the same the whole world over; It's the poor what gets the blame. It's the rich what gets the pleasure; Ain't it all a bleedin' shame.

Lets see what happens now after the sixty minutes story last night.

Given that Clive Palmer's multi billion dollar claim against the WA government is because he was prevented from selling his mine to the Chinese, I am wonder how the proposed legislation to allow the Federal Government to have the final say regarding foreign deals and national security may affect that claim.

I think the Canberra young woman was a step daughter? Reading between the lines there may be some sort of family conflict at play as well?

I read she was a nurse too Maggie...when the story first came up, I thought there's going to be more to it.. I even wondered if they were Hillsongers, but I don't think they are.. the same thing has happened to lots of other people..someone in Vic couldn't go to their mother's funeral because of the border closure
#scottyfrommarketing was in hiding today because he doesn't want to answer any q's about it

Dan Andrews daily pressers have not only kept people informed about covid, they have also shone a light on the terrible state of journalism in this country.

That was a good reply speech from Albo I thought. But I just wish he would be a bit more animated. It was too monotone.
Unfortunately these days people don’t listen to the message, just the emotion

they were feral today Maggie, especially those from newscorp
I just want to say that the WA Premier is really nice and his tweet was appreciated by thousands of Victorians
Mark McGowan @markmcgowanmp · 1h Great news out of Victoria today. Thank you so much to everyone there for your efforts to keep your State, and our entire country safe.
Australia will never forget the sacrifices you have made, and today we'll all toast your success.

We are so lucky to have him here in the West - and we wouldn't even swap him for Jacinda Ardern.

here's a little bit o9f good news for the Wuassies
The @highcourtofaus has rejected Clive Palmer’s bid to have WA’s border closure ruled invalid and has made a cost order against Mr Palmer
(PS I love that Palmer has been ordered to pay costs)
