Deb, I don't know how you can watch parliament question time.
I've had to turn over. I can't stand to listen to that screeching Michaelia Cash anymore.

how about their ridiculus reasons for voting for it LOL
On its ok to be white a source tells me most senators don’t know what each individual division is about at the time.
Some Liberal Senators that voted for the Hanson "it's OK to be white motion" tell me it was a debacle, surrounded by much confusion & followed by a "what the hell just happened moment". There's still confusion within Govt ranks as to whether that was meant to be their position
LOL.. so they vote on bills but half the time have no idea what they're voting for??
that's rubbish they would've been directed by Morrison to vote the way they did... no confusion about it

The Human Rights Law Centre is launching a case in the United Nations. It will be the first of many. It was refreshing to read about three Libs pleading with Morriscum to remove children and their families from Nauru. Nearly 6,000 doctors have signed a petition calling for the removal of children from Nauru.
Enough is enough.

From The Guardian
Mathias Cormann said it was an “administrative failure” which led to government senators voting for the Pauline Hanson motion that it is “okay to be white” and has taken responsibility for it.
He says the government had determined to vote no when the motion first came up in September, but somehow ended up voting yes through some sort of “administrative” error.
So the government said no, but the computer said yes. Or something.

So none of them think about what they are voting for? They just do it. Sounds about right.

They all need to be kicked out for their incompetence. How can anyone have confidence in a government that makes such errors? How many other "errors" have they made?

This is the road that we have been on for years, been warned about for years, and nothing other than voting these entitled bigots out of office will change it. Perhaps, it was another "administrative error" and he was meant to say that he "won't" be considering Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

artguide.com.au/hoda-afshar-wins-william-and-winifred-bowness-photography-prize-2018In her artist’s statement, Afshar recalls Behrouz Boochani’s response to her photograph. “I sent this portrait to Behrouz after I returned from Manus in April 2018, and called him. I said, ‘This is you, Behrouz, with your passion, your fire, and your writer’s hands. It symbolises your resistance.’ He heard this, and paused. ‘You are right,’ he said. ‘But I do not see myself in this picture. I only see a refugee. Someone whose identity has been taken from him. A bare life, standing there beyond the borders of Australia, waiting and staring.’ He fell silent, then said, ‘This image scares me.’”

Ray Hadley would be doing a better job stamping out drugs
and corruption in the police service.

These radio jocks have way too much to say about our politics and government. They have a position of power that they should not hold.

They have a position of power that they should not hold. it has always been so, Joono, pollies of all colours use them blatantly, but nowadays, there are many more listeners who make their voting decisions solely on what their favourite jock says, and don't think twice

dirty tricks Maggie... I hope they find out who is repsonsible
according to the polls.. there will be a 30% swing against the LNP in the safe seat of Wentworth.. which they've always held ( and by 17% at the last election)
Kerryn Phelps has picked up most Lib votes and it looks like she will win
