Looks like Dutton retains the portfolio of Home Affairs. This will be catastrophic with two human rights abusers in powerful roles. Morrison was almost as cruel as Dutton when he was in charge of Immigration. I hope that the Federal Election is called very soon.

_Julie Bishop has suggested her party used dirty backroom tactics to push her out of the bitter battle for the Liberal leadership. The former Foreign Affairs Minister, who has resigned from cabinet and will move to the backbench, questioned why her Western Australian colleagues didn't back her to take the top job. Ms Bishop revealed the leadership spill had been 'personally devastating' for several key players - and said she was aware of a leaked WhatsApp messages (right) which urged her supporters to vote for Scott Morrison in the ballot. The messages accused Senator Cormann (inset) off trying to set up a two-way contest between Ms Bishop and Mr Dutton, which the Home Affairs Minister would likely win.

Scott has offered Tony a special role in Indigenous Affairs. That almost as bad as him making himself Minister for Women or whatever the title was.

Angus Taylor is the most anti renewable energy person there is. He is appointed the new energy minister.. A bit like abbott as envoy of indigenous affairs.. Is Morrison paying them back? has a sense of humour, or trying to get rid of them? They supposedly dumped Turnbull because of the NEG and the unpopular comapny tax cut. But now the ministers who devised those policies are the leaders Does it make any sense to anyone? It doesn't to me.  |
