Yes Maggie - I didn't word that correctly I should have said I have no time for
Morrison or Bishop - Turnbull in my mind was a better choice for PM out of the
three. They are now saying Dutton hasn't got the numbers so there may not be
a meeting.

David Speers Verified account @david_Speers 10m10 minutes ago IT and phones have been cut off to those Ministers. They are now using the aph system instead of dept systems.David Speers added, Geoff Chambers @chambersgc The Australian was told that the PM, through his department, attempted to order departments to cut off IT/phones in the offices of ministers who quit yesterday. A source suggested it was intended to stop them from communicating + was against usual protocol www.theaustralian.com.au/national-affairs/malcolm-turnbull-sees-house-of-chaos-crumble/news-story/44d770cf61d62739cf2b45fe956323c7 … 3:51 PM - 23 Aug 2018 what the?? the PM took their phone communication off them

Warren Entsch has offered to provide the 43rd signature so it looks as though the meeting will be called and Turbull will resign. If Entsch does sign.
With Malcolm gone, there will be a bi-election which the Libs will probably lose, therefore, they will lose their majority. Well played, Truffles.
Then, there is the question mark over Dutton's eligibility.....

The Solicitor General has advised that Dutton has been cleared.
Truffles is a tactician. I think he seemed relaxed and relieved yesterday, knowing, full well that he will not be outplayed.

There will be impromptu rallies being held to protest against the new Prime Minister - regardless of which of the three wins.

My prediction is that Dutton will become PM. Then, we will all be fucked. Abbott will be returned to the frontbench. Abbott will use Dutton's increasing unpopularity to usurp him and become PM again - all before the next Federal Election or soon after.
Truffles will take a cushy well paying job and will be chuckling to himself over the political circus.

Even if there is an election is Australia going to be any better off with the choices that are there now.
i don't think so.

Labor is marginally better. I can't think of any LNP member who make a good PM but there are a number of ALP who I think would. I'd rather have the Greens run the country but that is wishful thinking on my part.

What a mess. I think of the three i would prefer Bishop -mainly because she is a West Aussie and the most likely to stand by the GST promise.

I'll be surprised if Bishop will win because the Libs have misogynistic leanings.

Apparently Credlin referred to her as Turnbull in a skirt, so I don’t think she has much hope.
