Only in Tasmania........ A seal having a sun bake in the water off Kingston Beach this morning was mistaken by some locals as a human body! Ambulance Tasmania hurried to the scene, but got bogged in the sand on arrival. Some local kayakers went out and confirmed it was a seal! Attachment Deleted

Oh dear.
Here is my should have gone to spec savers moment. I think I might have already told this so sorry if I did.
I was with one sister and we were meeting up with my other sister in Myers in Perth. We were standing near the escalator and looking around because you can see a couple of entrances from there. I thought I spotted her and was about to call out, and then I realised I was looking at myself in a mirror about 15 feet away. Doh! We don't even really look that much alike but obviously there is some resemblance.

I like to freak out that I've lost my phone. While I am talking on it.

I was cleaning the kitchen floor yesterday. (Not 10 years ago). When I got to the window I decided to get the vacuum out to clean the window sill. I like to keep the spiders limited with their webs (one per corner) and get rid of the insect carcasses.
The long attachment for sucking up was not on the vacuum. Of course not, and I can only blame myself.
I looked for it in the vacuum storage closet. No. I looked for the original box and after finally finding said box... No.
I look in all the bedrooms. No All the closets and cabinets. No
I'm getting super angry at myself. I have no one to blame.
I decide I will do it by hand with paper towels and I go to get the vacuum to put it back. And there's the attachment, on the table in front of the window. Less than an arms length distance from the vacuum.
How did I not see it? D'oh!!! Spec savers time for me.

Maybe the spiders did it.
I know it sounds crazy to keep the spiders... but since I've let them live here I don't have as much trouble with biting insects and flies. They don't go after wasps and that's a drag. There's also situations now and then when they don't want to stay in their zones. Yesterday I disturbed a community and ended up with a large one that was in a No Spider Zone (my bedroom). That one had to make a new life outside.
