Merry Christmas everyone. I'm not sure where to start today! I've boiled the eggs for the 1970's curried (deviled) eggs. I think I can safely make ahead a potato salad today. The rest I think will have to wait until tomorrow. It's going to be fun cooking the roast pork and turkey on a 37 degree day  We do it every year and survive it. Melbourne son got home early this morning. Yay!!!!! Other son will also be staying here for a couple of days. Also Yay  |

Joono, It's always so much more fun to have family there for the holidays. Wow on the heat. I just converted 37º C to F. That's nearly 100º here. It wouldn't seem like Christmas to me if it were that hot.

I plan on spending Christmas day alone- just me and a really good joint- planning the next trip with the family.
Eat a bag of stale chips, and hoping everyone's brownies aren't freezer burned- or something like that.

I wasn't too happy with my first Christmas in Australia, Egulch. As a child I always wished for a white Christmas, not a 40 degree day, but that's what I got. Like a lot of people I still like doing the traditional European type meal, but not always the full roast. With salad instead. Smarter people stick to things like cold meats and seafood, but I have that too. Can't give up the old traditions.
To Dalt, I hope you enjoy your Christmas whatever you are up to mofo.

Wishing everyone a happy Christmas. Yikers on the temps joono, we are cooler over in the East for tomorrow and currently got storms brewing nearby and just heard the first clap of Thunder. I always said I'd like to experience a white Christmas but my MIL said she doesn't exactly remember them fondly, just cold and they'd stay rugged up for the day. Ah the good old devilled eggs, I will be making them in the morning we've already made the Choccy Ripple cake and just a few salads to do and all will be good. All presents wrapped and under the Tree. |

56 years TODAY!!! (23RD) Happy Anniversary Goblins. 56 years is quite a milestone. You should be very proud. How fitting that you married Santa Claus two days before Christmas, even though he didn't have the Santa beard when you married him. Does he dress as Santa now? |

Merry Christmas everyone. Just grabbing a few quiet moments before the mayhem starts. Cooking and prepping all got done yesterday - I’m not sure how all this food is going to get eaten in one day but we’ll give it a red hot go 😄
It’s forecast heavy rain here around lunch time so all plans have been moved inside, which might get … interesting … and very noisy
The family issues that happened last week have been (kinda) resolved so at least all the cousins will be together for a couple of hours today ❤️

About to do it all over again today. Off to my sister's place for lunch to help eat the left overs. My sister makes enough food at Christmas to feed a small nation.

Woke up this morning all warm and toasty- smoked some really good sticky bud- life is good.
Then read an article about the 15 bus loads of migrants that were dropped off in Denver.
These are people- living in tents down by the river in subzero weather. Again, these are PEOPLE- but have been reduced to pawns.
If everyone who had more than than they need- gave just a little in return- life would be good for everyone.
Jesus would sit down with these people- look them in the eye- and see their humanity.
I really dislike the MAGA approach. These assholes don't love Christianity, they only love themselves.
