At a tire store of all places.
It was somewhere between 1988 and 1992.
I remember the city and I remember the name of the tire store but it no longer exists so I can’t provide an exact address.
He wasn’t very famous and I didn’t even know he was an actor or comedian when I was talking to him. He left before me and when I went to pay for my tires they asked me if I knew him because we had been chitchatting it up with small talk and jokes.

Now, however, when I met Jay Leno (twice) I can tell you a three month timeframe and exact locations.
I guess that means I never really met Sinbad but I did meet Jay Leno.
