No! I’m not thinking about stealing some thing. I was thinking about the act of stealing.
Recently, Someone I know had something stolen and the value was a dollar so it just seemed kind of ridiculous.
But it got me to thinking about stealing and how a few years ago my friend at Walmart would tell me about the things people would steal.
I can see stealing a loaf of bread (Les Miserables).
I can very much see stealing baby formula.
I can’t see stealing make up. Which is what my friend told me people stole the most.
I don’t think people need make up so that’s a bad steal.
She said a lot of bras were stolen. I see that one. Sometimes it’s the best for you and those around you that you’re wearing a bra.
The man that stole five T-bone steaks. Not cool. But I could see stealing 5 pounds of cheap hamburger.

Having worked in a grocery store for 32 years, I've seen it all. We caught a 75 year old woman in the store in La Jolla (One of the richest neighborhoods in San Diego), stealing a package of Oscar Mayer bacon. This woman owned a great deal of property in the La Jolla area and was quite wealthy. She brought a newspaper into the store and folder the package of bacon inside it. I truly believe in some cases, that some people steal, not out of a need or even want for something, but for the thrill of getting away with it.

I agree that some people do it for the thrill.
The last time I sent an extremely personalized birthday card to my granddaughter, it was stolen.
I hope they realize my art is worth nothing and they ruined a birthday moment.
I’m making it up to her by buying something on Amazon but my art was original and one of a kind, meant for her.
They suck. The thief took that away from both of us.
I wonder how they feel as a human.

i had my purse stolen out of my locked car - when i reported it i was told it was my own fault for leaving it in there - apparently the thief was perfectly justified for breaking in and ransacking my personal property.
dawn that really sucks, i hope the shitty thief got pubic lice

I had my mobile phone stolen once, or I should say someone found it when I dropped it most likely getting out of the car and heading to the shop. It was just a cheap clam shell phone so not really a great loss.
What I didn't like is my brother and who know who else getting a test message in the middle of the night saying you suck and you is gay. I didn't even know until the morning when my brother rang me on the landline to ask if it was me. I had no idea I had lost it. These days I'd be devastated. I panic if I leave the house without my phone.

 I did take a pic of the card for my granddaughter. She is a super champion at basketball. I cropped the lower half, but the shoes were cool and personalized. |
