About five years ago I was reprimanded for telling a newbie that one of the oldbies is a reiterator.
I specifically said she is a hard worker and takes her job seriously but don’t get trapped talking to her because she can take a one minute conversation and turn it into 20 minutes and you lose company time.
Yeah. I got into trouble for saying that.
I have a new reiterator at work.
I can’t stand reiterators!!

Usually it’s someone who is very nice and a hard worker. Someone who cares about the company and company work. But they just keep saying the same things over and over again until it drives me crazy.

Understand though....
They are great employees.
They just keep saying words over and over again.

I met Mary in 1984 at a Journey concert. She wanted to be a farmer and specifically raise sheep.
She met Gary in 1986 and they fell in love. They pooled their assets and worked hard until they had enough money to buy a farm. At first they got a sheepdog named Gus.
Gus was a good sheepdog but they had no sheep.
Two years later, they bought a lamb and it was pure white. Gary died after being hit by lightning the very day Mary got the lamb.

I mean, I guess mostly I would like people to be succinct with their thoughts and comments.
Don’t ramble on about things that have nothing to do with anything.
My time is valuable. Tell me what you need to say in a paragraph or less.
Don’t be all blah blah blah blah because it really annoys me.

What's 20 minutes? 😆 I have a male neighbor that can drone on for hours...nonstop...me me me...feel sorry for his wife...she loves to see him on the road doing his job...(no wonder) 😆 his stories are always the same just over and over. Never figured out how he is able to talk nonstop for a minimum of 2 hours and sometimes up to 4 hours. |

This thread was meant to be silly.
It was inspired by someone at work from years ago that I had thought about.
It wasn’t about anyone on boards.
I’ve been very nice to certain people who I don’t particularly like (I like everyone here)....
