She despises BP. LMAO

I think the BiggerThanYou/CadaverGal romance is pretty special. Two BS artists finding each other on the internet- stroking each other's frail egos- knowing they'll never meet in RL.
Sigh... pretty sure I'm going to cry.

We’re in the middle of summer holidays here. I’ve got 5 kids and 6 adults all staying at my house this week so I’m a bit busy. We spent this morning on the beach and are planning cocktails on the lawn this afternoon

Here I am!!! Just been busy the last few days. True Story. When my sister passed I ended up with her cats. One was a big, fluffy, long-haired, gold cat named Marmalade. From day one, strange things happen around that cat. I would cross the yard, there is Marmalade curled up on my deck. I enter the house and a few minutes later she is curled up in my chair! I let her in the house and shortly thereafter I look out the window and she is outside. This happens all the time to the point we now call her "ghost." Last night I let her in and about 10 minutes later, walked into my kitchen and she was outside. Beautiful golden color, bright eyes, sitting there looking in the window. It had a creepy feeling to it until I realized Marmalade was sitting on the floor and not outside after all. So, how long has Marmalade's doppelganger been haunting me? They are identical. Who does he belong to? I tried getting him into the house and out of the cold but he says no. I think he enjoys watching what goes on in my house through the window. It is like having his very own TV. Hey, we have to be better than watching Judge Judy.

I'm still here, but I've been doing my owl impersonation. A wise old owl sat in an oak, The more she heard, the less she spoke. The less she spoke, the more she heard. Why not copy that wise old bird.(anon) Only joking of course!

I stayed at my sister's place by the river for a couple of nights. Home now, but I did enjoy a couple of days of eating, drinking and walking and drinking and eating and...
We skipped our usual visit to the Windsor Hotel this year because it is very popular and crowded on Australia Day. Covid numbers are growing now.

Not much to report here. I have been going to my daughters place to water her garden and indoor plants. Haven't been going out much to avoid catching virus.
Same daughter gave us tickets to Hamilton the musical for Christmas 2020. They also have a draw anyone can enter for limited number of 2 free tickets. She won two tickets in that last year and won another two for this weekend. Big fan so they will have seen it 3 times. She's been winning things since she was a kid...ipads x2, ipod, tickets to Art Exhibition and more.

I would like to hibernate, but that stupid place that gives me a paycheck every week said they won’t if I don’t show up and work.
Plus the dogs harass me for a walk as soon as the sun comes up.
I bet it’s colder where Goblins lives. 🥶

Yes, we have had -18 below actual temp with a wind chill of -35 below. That is chilly no matter how you look at it. We stay inside most of the time.

we got over a foot of snow last night. Wind blowing like Hell, cold.
Drove into town yesterday for a meeting... three cars/trucks in the ditch, one head on collision... one of the cars upside down at the bottom of a hill(cannot imagine that person lived)... glare ice from the wind.
We hand shovel the parking area, and 100 yards of driveway as exercise.... today will be challenging.
plenty of work out available.

That’s hilarious about your ‘ghost’ cats Goblin. My neighbour down the road had a similar experience. She was standing at her kitchen window wondering how her cat got outside again, then realised her cat was still at her feet. It was my naughty cat that was outside. They are a white cat with light tabby marking and blue eyes. Not related at all, not even from the same area, but look almost identical. Her cat has a different shaped face.
My young rooster has just started to crow. They are funny when they first try, it sounds rather like a bagpipe getting runover. I guess it is the equivalent of a teenage boys voice breaking.

Madara........and Clarabell......my Dad always said my singing sounds like the droning sound of the bagpipes............(how rude)..............louder is more in tune.....right?.............I always have 100% enthusiasm.
Goblins.......when our kids were growing up we had 6 cats.........(I dont know how that happened).............when we fed tehm in the mornings there was a definite pecking order on who ate first...........Flashie was boss cat..........he always went first and the others sat around the kitchen waiting their turn.
Every now and again we would get this ginger tabby who would turn up here for breakfast..............he did it for about 10 years.
We called him Fred...............he always waited until last to eat..........and then would leave.
Someone obviously owned him................(you didnt get that chubby if you were a street cat)
Then one day he just disappeared.

Yes, cats all have a definite order. I have 5 very large cats who each have a spot in the order of things. 1) Adorable Alice~age 13. aka~" The Bitch." She is the boss. 2) Big Boy~age 13 He and his two sisters were strays dumped off here as kittens. The sisters have passed. 3) Amber~aka Mama. Age five Showed up here on a cold winter day, starving. She was pregnant-had five kittens of which we found homes for four and kept.... 4) Precious~ age four. She is my baby. 5) That leaves Marmalade~age ten. The ghost cat. All are spayed/neutered. How does it go, three things that make you feel powerful? Fast car. Loads of money. A cat choosing your lap to sleep in. 🐈
