I finally found it! How many days of this putrid smell and obsessing everyday?
But I found it this morning. It was dead and rotting. That’s all I have to say about that.
Oh and I would like to say it’s amazing how a small animal can make 1650 square feet (about 153 sq meters) smell this bad.

Wait. Did I get the meters right? Or is it more like 500 square meters?
🤔🤔🤔🤔

Have you ever put the trimming from a chicken in your kitchen trash can and then not taken it outside for a couple of days? There is nothing worse than the smell of any flesh that has decayed. I'm glad you found the problem.

There’s no trash pick up here like there was in California. I have to take the trash in myself.
Whenever I have fresh anything animal related I take it in within two days.
That’s why my first instinct was that it had to be the trash. Even vegetables start to smell after two days.
I throw my leftover vegetables outside to the compost.
But no. It was a dead critter in my house.
