huh? the Seine overflows and floods Paris streets, and Venice canals are empty
All the water's gon-dola! Venice's famous canals dry up due to low tides caused by the 'super blue blood moon' and lack of rain

wow Maggie, I missed that. This is a pic of the lightning on the Gold Coast last night hitting the Q1, not my pic. Apparently there was so much smoke, everyone got evacuated.

i feel sick that i live in the same country as these people
'You like that?' Shocking moment a disability pensioner is tackled to the ground by six policemen, beaten with a baton, capsicum sprayed in the face and hosed down as a grinning officer films the horrific ordeal on his phone

Disgusting. Kick them out of the force. We don't need police with a thug mob mentality.

who thinks this is a good idea? privacy? A Western Australian council has introduced see-through bins as a way to educate residents on their waste levels. Mindarie Regional Council (MRC) began the 'Face Your Waste' initiative to make locals aware of how much they throw away and how they can reduce it. Twenty homes in the northern suburb of Perth will trial the clear wheelie bins as of next Monday. Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5632933/Western-Australian-suburbs-trialing-bins-educate-

How ridiculous. We really do live in a police state. It reminds me of the clear backpacks they want the students to use in Florida.

Actually, it could turn into quite a game of one-upmanship - 'my garbage is more upmarket than your garbage', or 'look what I can afford to throw away..'

I agree with Mamasin, they will look totally grosse within a few weeks forcing people to buy bin liners and add to the plastic that is polluting the world. Terrible idea.
