~overheard~ "I am a hero" by Katrw On my way home from picking up 34 cases of frozen fish sticks, I saw a lady in the street flagging me down. Her baby was about to go into shock from a heat stroke and she wanted a ride. My car was filled with fish sticks, there was no room for the mum or the baby. I wasn't about to unload the fish sticks to make room. I bought them at a penny per case because they had an expiration date of 1972. I had a moment of brilliance, remembering I had duct tape in the boot of my car. I duct taped the baby to the hood of my car and told the mum she could ride in the boot. When we arrived at her flat, I held baby Dingus while the mum tried to figure out how to escape from the boot of my car. I licked his arm pits for a good while until mum got out and demanded baby Dingus be returned to her. Now hubs and I are enjoying fish sticks! lol Sticky: you are a hero! I was praying to God (who I don't believe in) that the fish sticks would make it home safely and my prayers to my non existent God were answered. For what it's worth, I do realize my parody about the mother and baby was offensive and hurtful.
When Joz said what he said to me, I was hurt-offended-dismayed etc.
Then he said something just as awful to Figlet.
I will (and do) apologize to the mom and baby if they read (or are reading) what Joz wrote about Figlet and me, that I used in my parody.
