On Australian Story tonight.. they're showing the story of Red Symons son.. who sadly died last week of a brain tumour.
Such a sad story this one... living in the inner suburbs of Melb.. next door to a sub-station...and the damage it did to their baby son

Rebelater, you can change the theme and get rid of the cows if you like. I'm using the autumn robin theme. Click on the orange T down the bottom of the page. The T is next to the settings cog symbol. Then you can change the theme and choose one you like.

Turnbull has got himself a better gig as ex PM,than Abbott did. Turnbull on the US speaking circuit for around $100 000 a speech.

Abbott signed up for that too... but he was only worth $30,000 (While he was a back-bencher) I remember him giving a talk to climate change deniers, either in the US or U.k He wasn't very successful though.. didn't get many booking

Pfft to $30 000... Only the anti-gay and anti-abortion groups were interested in him.

I love Billy Bragg but the star of the show tonight was Lisa Singh. OMG what is Amanda Vanstone still doing hanging around.

“Don’t interrupt me Lisa” interrupted Amanda.
Actually I think the other real star was Marco.

I love Billy Bragg and that he dedicated his song to Marco. I love how the young are taking the pollies to task. The pollies need to understand that these young students are tomorrow's voters and politicians. I thought that Vanstone was overbearing and dismissive.

I like Hamish Macdonald but I thought he was pretty dismissive of what Billy Bragg had to say. The students were indeed told to get back to school and learn about mines and how to drill for oil and gas. Vanstone and Hamish accused BB of verballing him.

Actually, I'm a bit off Hamish this week. He was also extremely rude to Steve Price and cut him off on the Project. I very often totally disagree with Price's views but Hamish acted in a childish and petulant way. Steve Price was invited to have his say.

He's no Tony Jones.
On The Project, he said afterwards something about what Steve Price's comments could do to any transgender kids watching but, yes, he did cut Price off rather abruptly.

I think most of the guest moderators on QandA forget that their job is not to interview the panelists, but to facilitate discussion around audience questions. Tony Jones is the only one that gets it I think.
