Call me a Whambulance.....................wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................... I finally got two blocks of the caramilk chocolate................and they have recalled it............ Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh !!!!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I looked this afternoon and noticed there was still a sign for it on the shelf (Coles & Woolies), but no empty boxes for it etc... just a big vacant hole. That explains it.

Only reason i got a block of it as it was on the counter ,at the checkout it was the last block too. I thought this looks yum as i love caramel and it was on special for 3.00 . I must have a look next time i'm in there to see if they have it where all the other chocolate is.
This store here isn't that quick with taking stuff off the shelves.

Well! Mr Penny has enough convicts in his family tree to fill a good sized prison hulk. I think one of them must have been the original "Black Velvet Band" Reading between the lines in the court case, she clearly was a prostitute, and she was convicted of stealing a watch from a drunken customer and pawning it.

Good afternoon everyone.
The weather has been calm and cooler until about now (1.30pm onwards)... then it heats up and hot dry wind arrives... much better than high temps from 9am till late.
Can get jobs done around the place before it heats up which is good.
Had the car air conditioner re-gassed this morning (mobile van came to our house). Lucrative job @ $500 for about an hours work.

Thankyou. I sorted out the anxiety while I was in the shrink's waiting room. lol. I just need to simplify it in my head and put it into perspective. At least I knew what was causing it, often, there is no apparent cause - then, its just a matter of waiting until it passes.

Whoa $500. I wonder how much the gas actually costs.
It is quite mild here. It is supposed to be hot but I don't have the fan on at the moment and the breeze coming in the window is coolish.
Although I am home today, work has been contacting me so have spent half the day fixing panic problems (I do respect those in our team but I have found that high IQ and a University degree does not often mean one has common sense). I have already told them that when I retire I am changing my phone number LOL.

i am stressing big time about what to do in order to get curtis signed up for medicare before he hits 65 in november...what do we actually HAVE to sign up for, what can we actually afford to pay for in the way of supplememntal insurance..do we even NEED that supplemental insurance? can we get subsidized for it? can we still qualify for his heart doc's financial aid program? my head hurts. but i WILL figure this out, i don't have a choice. sometimes life just sucks.

So proud of you Ava. Anxiety is a bitch, but being able to recognise it, look it in the face and stare it down is heroic.

Glad you are feeling better ava.
We went to the solicitor today to make new wills. We realised a while ago that ours are very out of date. We made them before we had children and our executor has since passed away. We also arranged for the PoA things while we were there.
Now I can safely push him under a bus 😂😛

I'm going out to dinner with a group of friends this evening. I am feeling very tired - anxiety is exhausting - but am looking forward to catching up with them. Its a full day, today. The shrink, then an ECG, then dinner. Tomorrow, I will be doing nothing. lol

Have fun tonight Ava.
Kay, I was recently on Jury Duty. After the evidence given by a DNA specialist, I now know that, if DNA is the only evidence and I planned carefully, I could commit a murder and get it blamed on someone else LOL

Have a great night out AC... the weather's been perfect here in Melb. today hasn't it?? it should be really nice for going out tonight too
Sin, I don't really undertand your health insurance in the US.. sounds like you've got a lot of research to do there

Prim - you definitely need a new phone number when you retire.
Ava- you had a very full on day.
Sin - sounds complicated!. Private health insurance here is a rip off mostly.. high premiums and then high excesses for operations if you make a claim. We do have free healthcare (Medicare) but the wait an be very long for operations.
I was expecting an Express Post parcel yesterday (from a rellie).. It didn't arrive, till today. Looked up the tracking and it said for yesterday " Service was suspended - Extreme Weather" The parcel had arrived in Canberra yesterday morning.. the weather wasn't that bad (windy) yesterday that cars/vans had to stay off the road.

I’ve had two separate messages this week from AP saying Sorry, your parcel won’t be delivered today due to unforeseen circumstances.

I had a lovely time at the restaurant. Good food and company. We usually come back here afterwards but tonight I said no because I haven't been well,so, we went to someone else's instead. She recently had her kitchen done and I can't get over the change. It is a small area but it gives the optical illusion of being much bigger. Its very nice.
I need to unwind so came online. I went to FB and saw that I had a lot of PMs. Some of the men on Manus had been attacked by drunken naval personnel. The police said that they were the same ones who attacked the detention centre last GoodFriday [ when bullets were fired into the centre] A few of the men were taken to hospital. It looks like it might be a long night.

I have a small online business as a sideline (not ebay) and post items every day. I have not had any complaints about delayed delivery as yet but now I know others are having a problem, I will be prepared if I get any complaints.
It is a most beautiful morning here in Sydney, the sky is blue, the birds are chirping .... wait a minute, it sounds like panic chirping, I hope we don't have a 'weather event' on the way.
Ava, I hope you woke refreshed today, it sounds like you had a lovely evening last night.
Edit to add: Just had a chuckle at the latest picture on GP1
