I really want to get the chorus from “It’s Time” (the Whitlam campaign jingle) as my ringtone but can’t find one or work out how to make one.
I’ve used GarageBand before but can’t work out how to get the YouTube clip into my Music files.
Anybody know?

Nope. I got my first iphone a couple of weeks ago and was very disappointed in the ringtone selection. I googled how to make custom ringtones but my eyes kept glazing over, so for now I’m flummoxed.

I'm not even sure what my ringtone is because it's mostly on silent. My watch buzzes me when I get a call or a text message.

You can create any ringtone you want but you must convert it into an m4r before it will work on your phone. You could experiment with making them here (Free) audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-m4r |

It seemed a rather tedious process.
I tried that link Lyn and had no joy with it either.
The ringtones on iphone sound tinny to me. I miss my samsung

I did it! The trimming tool from your link allowed me to save it in ring tone format then I just had to drop in into my phone via iTunes on my PC. Easy Peasey  |
