Here’s something I often wonder. If you met face to face in a public room, would you still be insulting, calling them names, and basically bullying them? Is that how adulting works in the real world? Seems pretty juvenile to me. If you wouldn’t do it in the real world, why do it in the cyber world. They are still real people sitting on the other end of the screen. You’re right Clara, most people wouldn’t. But I suspect the ones that are really deep into the chat board world don’t really have much connection with the “real world”. I read just a few of them sometimes but it’s mostly for entertainment value. I do admit to enjoying a good old fashioned stoush. Especially when there are a few random crazies thrown in 😂 I agree with you both. I like a laugh though and certain people supply heaps of it. |
