Now that we’re all staying in to avoid crowds, what’s some good movies to watch while waiting for the fireworks?

Have you seen Gravity with Sandra Bullock? I really liked that.
Also the Departed with Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, if you don't mind a bit of violence. It's a Martin Scorsese movie.
I loved Jane Eyre too. All on Netflix.

Loved Don't Look Up, had similarities to Wag the Dog and mixed with a bit of Idiocracy. The Gentleman is a good one Deb for sure, maybe because I like Charilie Hunnam, well I like looking at him

The Gentleman is a good one Deb for sure, maybe because I like Charilie Hunnam, well I like looking at him Hugh Gran'ts accent was so different in that film... and the actress who played the eldest daughter in "Downtown Abbey" was also a bit of a surprise

Well we watched Wag the Dog (disturbingly feasible) and a few eps of Emily in Paris.
Didn’t make it to midnight and didn’t wake up to see the sunrise. Pretty appropriate for the shitty year that was really 😢
