Hope you figure it out Dawn, there are so many similar films and tv shows where they do the marking on the doors etc.

I’ve seen way too many movies and had too many dreams that were like movies.
I had a dream about Jurassic Park before Jurassic Park existed and I did not read the book.
Someone at work suggested it could be “Outbreak”, So I read the synopsis and there were many similarities but I don’t remember a monkey. I don’t remember famous actors.
I love Red Dawn!!!
Both the original and the remake.

Nope, not it....
I went to Dollar Tree and ran into a gal who I used to work with. She is a movie buff.
So there we are talking about what movie it could possibly be and I draw a diagram of what the government was marking on peoples garage doors. The cashier/clerk overheard and says she knows what movie this is. So does the 10 year old behind us.
It’s not Cabin Fever.
It’s not 28 days/weeks etc.
It’s not Bird Box (now I want to see that!).
It was a movie between 2006 (I think?) and now.
It was modern day for whenever it was filmed.
It was about a suburban town in the hills, like Granada or Woodland Hills in the SFV.
The teenager romance was a small part of the overall story and I’m pretty sure the Dad rescued them off of a roof.
Oh and the Dollar Tree clerk waited for the line to clear and looked up things on her phone for about 8 minutes.
She said I do know what movie you’re talking about I just can’t remember it.
So at least I didn’t dream it. (I think 😂).
And if it does turn out that I dreamt this entire thing… Oh boy I have a script to sell.

I’m thinking we should redirect my OCD and turn this into a name that Zombie or Infection movie thread based on very little info.
(I am starting out with an easy one)
Name this movie:
The main character is probably the last human on earth, everyone else is infected and has turned into flesh eating monsters.
He can only go outside during the daytime.
He goes to various stores during the day to get supplies and talks to mannequins.
All the zoos have long since closed so there are wild animals running around (like reindeer and lions).

I watched a really funny movie called The Argument. No one in it is very famous. I almost gave up about 20 minutes into it because it started so slow. I’m glad I didn’t give up- it had me laughing out loud. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Argument_(film)Re: I am legend I thought it was a good movie, it held my attention. But you have to consider it as “loosely based”. It didn’t follow the book or the previous two movies. They should have called it something else, so people wouldn’t expect it to be like the book. |

Dawn, your movie searching got me thinking about one I saw but couldn't remember the name of. I finally found it. It is called 10 Cloverfield Lane and it's more of a thriller than a horror. I don't like horror movies. Uh uh no way  It's a good one if you haven't seen it already. Here's the storyline. After getting in a car accident, Michelle awakens to find herself in a mysterious bunker with two men named Howard and Emmett. Howard offers her a pair of crutches to help her remain mobile with her leg injury sustained from the car crash and tells her to "get good on those" before leaving the bunker. She has been given the information that there has been an alien attack and the outside world is poisoned. However, Howard and Emmett's intentions soon become questionable and Michelle is faced with a question: Is it better in here or out there? |
