How odd, Christians backing a pimp.. there's something very wrong there for starters

likely they knew another republican can replace him , like the senate here the party gets the vote and can replace dead or retired senators with a party pick . you'd just think they might quickly find a candidate before the ballot though .. maybe they don't have to ? something odd about the Florida races i was reading yet there's little that can be done ?
it's soo different to Westminster style governance and much more relaxed i was thinking .. voting machines with flat batteries don't work (especially if you forget the charge cords ) humidity messes with the machines and after all that there's no paper trail to check .. just cheat enough to beat the recount margin which is small too .
a lot of it is down to the logistics if running such a show , some things are bound to go wrong but others are designed that way .

Apparently there were 10's of thousands of votes not counted in Florida Madara.. will post some more info on that later

what is heartening about the mid-term voting is that the turnout was the highest for 49 years....it was a referendum on trump

I doubt whether Fox have any real sympathy for Acosta, but they can see what might happen to their journalists under the Democrats if a precedent is set.

The NRA is pure evil and the power behind the gun culture. There is no bottom to their greed and amorality.

Recently it told doctors who are on the frontline of dealing with all the carnage and death to "stay in their own lane" because they came out in support for gun control!

The NRA has even managed to block research into the issue of and resolution of gun violence.



I sure hope that your country is doing all it can to keep NRA lobbying money and influence out of your gov't.

You should be proud of the action taken by Australia in the 90's to eliminate automatic firearms. We can only dream of it here. We seem to be on a suicide mission.
