??? what's the #all about, ladies? It's about not supporting the racing industry Sin. I've never bet on a Cup and have always thought horse racing is cruel. I didn't realise it was so bad though until I saw the 7 30 Report. This aired not so long ago, and shows exactly what goes on. Absolutely disgraceful.  |

I saw Four Corners. I don't think Bill Spedding had anything to do with it.
I can't believe it took police two years to follow up on the sighting of William in a car driven by a woman. Too busy trying to pin it on Spedding.

No he wasn't Lyn. It was 5 months into the investigation because he had a reputation for being able to crack hard cases.
He was removed from the case for recording another POI without a warrant. He goes to trial next year.

no, Lyn, he wasn't.....they were under serious pressure to solve the mystery, but they did seem to concentrate on him because of the historical charges, understandably, but they also had dozens of other persons of interest....they do not reveal other avenues of investigation....i blame the media partly for their hounding of spedding also

Duffy, i was not surprised by that footage.......just more (but horrific) of the same that they have experienced all along....i have signed the petition
now, i have to own up to the fact that i babysat once for a well known jockey a long long time ago, in the days where i had to take my children with me..........and another time when the agency sent me to a unit at ascot, not until they family came home did i realise by their conversation that he was a nsw trainer whose horse had won that day.....they paid me and i gave them a receipt, then as i was leaving, he kept stuffing money into my bag.....they were a bit "tired and emotional"

A family member works for a horse rescue and rehabilitation centre. It is not pretty. Neither are the statistics for the racing industry. They are readily available online. Poor horses.
