Loved it ivy. Such a good set up for the rest of the season I think. There are a lot of relationships reformed that need a bit of work LOL I said over the way though, I didn’t need so much dragon riding. That was time wasted I think. And I laughed when Theon released Yara and she head butted him 🤣 There is much more humour in the more recent seasons than earlier. They all have good one liners sometimes. “What do dragons eat anyway” “ Whatever they like” 🤣🤣

that was great when Theon rescued his sister Kay... also that he wants to go back and help defend Winterfell
now we have to wait another week to see what happens next

Isn’t Euron Greyjoy a piece of work? I want to just reach into the screen and slap his stupid smug face. I’m waiting for Cersei to do it

Do you think Cersei is going to pretend the baby is Euron's? There was a moment where she got an odd look on her face as if she was up to something.
Talking of funny lines, the one where they got spooked because of the blue eyes and Tormun said, "I have always had blue eyes" LOL LOL

She might prim. Especially now that Jamie has gone over to the other side. What about Bronn shooting Jamie and Tyrion? He wouldn’t would he? So much going on! Six episodes won’t be enough 😳

I just said to OH that I might have to watch todays episode again tonight because I am sure to have missed something. After watching the reruns for the 3rd time over the last few weeks, I found so much more than I had ever realised.

After watching the reruns for the 3rd time over the last few weeks, I found so much more than I had ever realised. every time I watch the series again.. I pick up on new things that I hadn't noticed before.. unfortunately we deleted today's, but will try to pick it up again somewhere so I can watch it again ( might fast forward the flying dragons scene though)

It will be interesting to see which one of them outwits the other though I think Cersei might win that one, though you never know. Euron is out for himself and has only sided with Cersei while it suits him to.

We are planning on watching that first episode again sometime this week as yes there is always little snippets you may not have picked up on the first time.
I don't think poor old Samwell Tarly was none to impressed to hear from Daenerys that she'd crispy fried his Father and Brother. I think he'll be backing/pushing John to stake his claim as the rightful Heir to the Iron Throne over Daenerys as his allegiance is to John and she's not endeared herself to him or given him reason yet to support her. .
It's always interesting to watch episodes again for sure Deb as there is always something new you pick up. There was a post on Facebook the other day with a list of specific previous episodes that should be watched in connection with the new season.
Maybe next week they will kill someone off as it is supposed to happen

Here’s something out of left field (that I just made up). Arya and Gendry are the only main characters that end up happily ever after - together 😃🙃😉

I think you are on the right track Kay. Maybe they are just the only two left? They have been grooming Gendry for something, keeping him low key but popping up every now and then so we don't forget about him. I thought the dragon flight to the waterfalls was rather ominous. Once characters start to 'soften' they don't seem to survive much longer.

I spent this whole episode dissecting every nuance trying to think ahead of the plot. It is ruining my viewing. I think I will go back to just sitting and enjoying. I felt like we were saying goodbye to many of the main characters today.

We have little people staying so couldn’t watch until after they had gone to bed.
Lots of setups for farewells in next weeks episode I think. Theon is all but gone. Jamie living beyond ep3 looks dodgy. Arya and/or Gendry look doubtful. And I’m afraid for Greyworm too.

Also Briene and Jorah, Kay.. those who've made their peace and resolved their lives..their chapters will probably be over soon.
Sersi is planning on the people winning the war and then moving her army in to take over.
interesting situation between Daenerys and Jon.. will she see him as a threat now that she knows he's the rightful king?

My favorite series was Lost......but, unfortunately, the ending was so ambiguous that it answered nothing, leaving me forever confused.....I think they were forced to end things prematurely.

i never watched that, but i read all the "conspiracy" threads on my "soap " boards. I truly enjoyed all of the different theories, and i probably should catch "lost" on tubi or netflix, just to see which ones worked out to be truest(true-est?) !

Hi Deb and Mamasin, the thing about Lost is, you end up falling in love with the characters and don't care about the plot....LOL
I know this is a thread on Game of Thrones and I don't mean to derail it, but I've never seen game of thrones....(I'll try to catch an episode or two)....On Lost though, I kinda binged watched every episode on me puter when it came out on i-tunes.....I know the writers didn't intend the island to be in another dimension, but....if I were in charge of the plot, the island might be some place between dimensions, like the Bermuda triangle, or purgatory....a sort of holding zone between heaven and hell..I probably would have written it as, everyone dies in the plane crash, but they don't know they're dead....That would have explained all the paranormal anomolies.....It could have been a place where the material world inter-phases with the inter-dimensional world...
But they muddied that plot up with a bunch of other things that didn't fit in.....Like their ability to return to the "real world" as physical beings.....I still like my interpretation better than the writers'...
Anyway....I'd comment on game of thrones if I knew anything about it....LOL

that was the biggest theory, the alternate universe thing, with a gate so they could enter their original world. lost is on hulu, all 6 seasons, if you'd like to watch it again. you can get a free month's trial , binge it and cancel! *and now, back to our regular programming*
