Himself has announced that’s what he wants me to get him one for Christmas for his shed. I don’t know anything about them. Does anyone here have one? What should I be looking for? What should I avoid? Thanks.
PS., I did tell him if he ever thought getting me something similar was a good idea I’d leave him 🤣

Agree about the similar gift part.
I know nothing about them however you might google various brands and check the reviews.

get him a shopvac. BUT, only if he has no carpet/rugs out there! i had one for several years at the old house, it was fabulous on the hardwood floors& linoleum, but it had such strong suction , it tried to eat the rugs. it was AWESOME for cleaning up the water when i would defrost the freezer though, and it would pick up most anything. just tell him to make sure he rinses it out and leaves it open to dry, or it will get moldy inside. valuable lesson learned for me, i'm allergic to mold.

What is he going to use it for? Does he have carpet in his shed?..or use it for car upholstery?
A carpet cleaner by itself may be a less expensive option..and a separate vac.

Just looked up what they do.
"Wet Dry Vacs can be used to suck up liquid spills, large piece of debris, snow on the doorstep, ashes from the fireplace and puddles on the floor"

Our garage is always awash after rain so he thinks a wet and dry vac will be good to dry it out. I think I’ll go with the Vax one, if our local Betta store’s order comes in this week that is. Otherwise he’ll have to wait until his birthday in February.
