Pepe, I like to make my Christmas gifts. I made this one special for you...…( and one for Clarabelle cause she said she needed one). Never go out of style, I am a practical kinda gal. Actually, I found a bunch of videos about back scratchers ….what a hoot!! i am a big fan of handmade gifts and decorations for christmas so this is perfect!
i do appreciate the time you took to stain and varnish the handle so i wouldn't get splinters!
thank you!!
deb i will be on to yours very soon....

I've seen a few of those in people's homes(millionaires) on UK TV shows.. like having a clothes, shoe, accessories and jewelery shop in the middle of your home.

So, I am in the middle of making a bunch of bottle cap back scratchers for family and friends for real.....can't wait to see the looks of joy and gratitude on their faces. I upgraded to 5 gal. heavy duty stir sticks only the best from me. Partner has a jar collecting beer caps at her local tavern.

Hey, Bean, once you've finished the backscratchers maybe you should try your hand at a lagerphone.

for Prim.... to help with your new garden
and for you to collect (for me) souvenirs from your cruise
Thank you for my gift Maggie, That is so thoughtful and you have such foresight! How did you know my garden was going to die and I would have to start again :) :) I especially love the seed tray dibber. Now I really, really want one :) I wish I had known I had a treasure box for souvenirs, I would have bought some trinkets for it. I actually never buy souvenirs anymore as I usually end up tossing them a few years later but on this trip we found what we think is a beautiful object and because we were enjoying the trip, we bought as a memento and it won't be getting tossed. Once I find my phone to take a photo and then learn how to upload it, I will show you a photo.

We spotted this fella in a window in Dunedin. OH never wants to buy anything so when I saw it and said that I liked it, I expected something along the lines of 'we don't need it'. He said 'yes, I like it too' so I ducked into the shop and bought it. He will be a reminder of our trip.

Prim. Beautiful! What's it made from? Agree that if you both love something, you have to buy it and take it home. that would be a rare occurance in our household too Nice reminder of your holiday as well

That's beautiful, prim.. made from glass? I have collected fridge magnets when overseas... collected quite a few.. now my daughters bring them back for me (only collect 'cool' ones they say). Their father says what does a cool one look like?

I thought he was made from glass, even after I picked him up to take to the counter as it is very, very heavy. But when I said to the salesperson I was nervous about getting him home in one piece as we were travelling she explained it is made from aluminium. The photo does not really do it justice, it does look better in real life.
