I did the mystery item too. I bought a puzzle box and put two $5 notes inside. It was a two-part game. What it was and then how to open it. We threw dice and the winner got first guess, then it was all in. They all had many turns at feeling and asking 'yes', 'no' questions. No one guessed it so unwrapped and then they all tried but could not open it. Youngest vanished for a while, came back and opened it, he had googled puzzle boxes LOL LOL. It was all very, very funny and entertained them for quite a while.

purple on the left.. orange on the right is what I see too mystery parcels are always fun.... Dad's was a hard one this year. it was a beach volleyball in a box.. but to throw us all off when we squeezed and rattled it... he'd put stones in the bottom of the box and stickytaped a small soft toy to the top. He tries everything to make it hard to guess... it worked for him this time I don't think I want to eat for a week after yesterday  |

blue and red on the left which makes it look purple and red and yellow on the right that looks orange.
If I stare at it like those optic puzzles then I can make the orange one disappear.

the puzzle answer from the article (don't shoot the messenger) is that both skulls are red, the background colour is irrelevant
