I DID NOT, NOR HAVE I EVER, POST(ED) IRISH'S GRANDCHILDREN'S PI! not at CTTP, not at HPH, not on LP's failure of a soapbox replica board, NOWHERE, EVER! and neither did goblins! a letter followed by **** is NOT a name, nor is it PI of any kind, and that is ALL goblins posted publicly!
irish is lying as always and she knows it. egulch knows it too, but her response COULD be misunderstood, and i don't want anyone thinking that SHE is a liar, or that she is agreeing with irish that those kids PI was posted on her board. i believe her response meas that yes, i WAS banned the first time for revealing , albeit inadvertently, the first names of 2 posters. even though it wasn't meant as a taunt in any way, i DID deserve the first ban. i did NOT deserve the second ban, as the new rule was not, and still isn't, posted anywhere at CTTP.
i was banned the second time for discussing truthpick's sex change surgery with her, and NOTHING i said was NOT posted on a public board, three at least, in fact. BUT there is apparently a new rule at CTTP that you can't bring up anything about a poster that they haven't brought up themselves ON CTTP. at least not truthpick anyway. so it's probably a good idea not to post ANYTHING from another board there to avoid being banned.
anyway, i just wanted to set the record straight, and make sure no one thinks that susan was agreeing that i, or goblins, posted irish's grandchildren's PI PUBLICLY ANYWHERE. TIA for understanding why i needed to clarify.

Did Riversong get banned?  Are they banned from all RU or just Politics? I don't know what they were like on the Politics Board, but I really enjoyed their posts in the Atheist thread - always, calm, reasoned and rational. |

from the whole board penny, or s/he wouldn't have gotten the contact admin notice when s/he saw the ban notice. as you can see from the thread at CTTP, moldy is blaming the ladies, and STILL hasn't given a response. i don't blame RS one bit for stating s/he got the answer, i know as well as s/he does that the ban was because of the lout. HE has definitely got something on moldy, and it's obvious to anyone who was around when moldy let lout come back after the whole linus debacle. i'm just...disgusted. RS is a very intelligent poster, as are you, brad, sashoo , shifty and duffy, and lout can't handle it. so he gets the boss to smack on the ban.
there are days when i REALLY don't understand why shyne & suZan stick around...

There's a possibility RS got caught up in the banning sweep.
SS was banned for no "obviously apparent" reason.
And they remain banned after asking the mods.
The mods don't consistently share the reason people are banned.
Anyway, my takeaway from the cttp thread is that every time fwg "remembers" his interaction with me, the story changes. But at least he refers to me as dwtw, instead of DWT. Then again, he isn't pretending to be new.

When I was 'banned' because of the IP sweep, I tried the 'contact admin' button 3 times with clear explanations of who I was, how I had trouble with my user ID and how one of RU's admin had tried to help me (as a way of reminding them of who I really was and to prove I was not anyone else). I got no response to any of my emails over a two week period. It was only by getting a friend to contact them and confirm who I was, that I was un-banned, without a word or acknowledgement of my other emails. I don't think that 'contact admin' button works.

I read the first page, Sin, and that was enough for me to get the gist. People like them do not understand that they are perpetrating the violence and are no better than those they condemn. Pitting side against side is a large part of the problem. People just need to stop killing each other. People just need to stop with the violent aggression. People just need to stop.

people like moldy,shyne and suZan , or pepe, or egulch and vanny, or ANY board owner have a responsibility to the public if they own a public board . social media has a much bigger influence than anyone wants to admit, and until we DO admit and put a stop to hate speech influences, the violence will just escalate.
and much more needs to be done BY ALL forms of social media to monitor and identify and report people like tarrant to every authority they can, as well as shutting them off competely.
and friends, family, coworkers, EVERYONE needs to start listening, and opening their eyes and STOP saying things like, " oh, it's just harmless words on a screen", or the violence won't stop. it won't stop until this type of person is stopped BEFORE it happens.
i can't even express how disgusted i am with shyne's response too, i thought she was better than that. i was so wrong....

you can't and shouldn't even try to force others to bend to your will and make them say or think what you feel is appropriate.
everyone is entitled to their opinion and shutting them down in any way because you think its horrible is just not right.
some of the posts on there are downright horrible to me, but it shows me who i'd not bother with putting in the effort to have a rational civilised discussion on certain topics
