I heard that's good too Pepe.. and interesting as Lady Gagga doesn't play Lady Gagga but herself.. the real persona I'm a bit like you.. I can't sit still long enough in a cinema.. and because I used to work in that type of industry it's not like 'going out" to me

The Favourite.
Olivia Coleman was great and so was Emma Stone. Nicholas Hoult was good too.
A funny movie- not sure how historically accurate it is or meant to be, not up on Queen Anne but I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

I want to see that, too, Duff. All that I know about Queen Anne is that she was the last of the Stuarts to rule and that there is a style of furniture named after her. lol.

The only thing I know about Queen Anne was that she had umpteen children, all but one either miscarried or was stillborn - and the only one who made it through birth died in childhood,

I am watching "Reign" on Stan.
It is loosely based on Mary Queen of Scots.
It has a difficult plot........and lots of twists and turns.
And it has...............Torrance Coombs...........(he is absolutely gorgeous)
Edited because I cant type.

The only thing I know about Queen Anne was that she had umpteen children, all but one either miscarried or was stillborn - and the only one who made it through birth died in childhood, In The Favourite it says she had 17 children, they all died. How sad for her. From Wiki- 'Anne's final pregnancy ended on 25 January 1700, when she miscarried a stillborn son. She had been pregnant at least seventeen times over as many years, and had miscarried or given birth to stillborn children at least twelve times. Of her five liveborn children, four died before reaching the age of two.

The Favourite is not showing at Hoyts, which is very close to where I live and where I usually go. It is on at two other cinemas in Canberra though.
We went and saw Holmes & Watson on Boxing Day.. one of those movies you wonder why it ever got made. It got bad reviews everywhere.

at first glance.. she looked like Arya Stark from GOT Cy,
they're advertising the last series of GOT on Foxtel already... it won't be screening until April
I can't wait for that one
a new series ( series 3) of the True Detective started on Foxtel this week... another HBO production
great show.. I thoroughly enjoyed series 1 and 2.... each series is a whole new storyline with new characters,

hulu is sort of like netflix combined with " on demand", if that makes sense. they are the exclusive site for castle rock here, as they own the show rights. but since it's USA only, they sell it to other countries, i guess?
