I've seen the Book Club, it' entertaining a deserves a chuckle. Of course, with that cast it couldn't go wrong.
I don't have any HBO, Nexflix, Hulu etc. so I don't see most movies until much later.
I haven't seen a single episode of Game of Thrones. Heard that this is the final season. My brother has the series on DVD and will wait until he gets the final season and binge watch it in it's entirety.

Been they didn't even have a GOT series this year... so it''s been a long wait for the final
I watched it every year and this year because there wasn't one. I binged watched the whole series.. it was much better to watch it that way than trying to remember who was who and what their story was. I've saved the last episode of the last series to watch again before the screening of the new one..

I'm another one that has never watched GOT. I know it's supposed to be great but I'm just not interested. Give me light and fluffy every time.

I watched that one on Netflix recently, carmella. It was hard to get into but I stuck with it.
Last one I've seen at the movies was Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again..which was good.

I was given the DVD of Lady in a Van 2 Christmases ago but haven't had a chance to watch it. I was given The Crown last Christmas to watch before the next series started but haven't watched that either.
I have watched GOT about 3 times all though and several episodes a few more times, as they repeat it on fox. I keep discovering subplots and connections I never noticed before. I don't think there will ever be another series like it.
Can't wait to see Ladies in Black.

I watched Source Code again the other day.
I have poor movie/tv recall.
I was halfway through it when I remembered I had seen it before. It was still good (imo).

I haven't seen Source Code but it's on Netflix.
Don't like Gyllenhaal that much but might take a look as it's sci-fi, I like sci-fi.

That's so true about GOT Prim.. watching it sgain I picked up on many things I hadn't been aware of before... the characters and story line are so complicated

If you get a chance to watch the series Line of Duty do it.
I just watched it on Netflix............and I thought it was one of the best series I have watched for a while.
And if you want to watch a "floof" series..............When Calls the Heart is a gooden.
Hubby and I went to the pictures to see the new Johnny English movie.
The humour was predictable...................but it was funny............we enjoyed it.

Flashie I watched the first season of Line of Duty and it was really good, the lead guy in that was Morgan from TWD. I should get back to it.
Scratch what I said about Source Code, I've seen it. I have poor movie/tv recall too DW. It was okay. I think I found it frustrating.
Whenever people talk about GOT, I'm like I must be the only person on the planet that hasn't watched it. But I'm not. lol.

My daughter refuses to watch it Duffy but my granddaughter has watched the latest few series and enjoyed it. She will watch it from the beginning when she finishes Uni and has more time.

I have missed not having a new season of GoT to watch this year and keep getting reminders on FB of when the air date is for next year.
Joono if you want a show that is light and fluffy well there is always Chesapeake Shores, that is light and sort of fluffy and it's not that bad a show.
Salvation is another one that is sort of interesting and it's new season is supposed to start soon.
Was disappointed that they dropped Designated Survivor, we quite enjoyed that one and I think Kiefer Sutherland was trying to shop it around to other networks to see if they could get a third season for it so it could still happen.
Riverdale is starting back as well, I like it but it's a lot darker than the Archie comics were.

A feel good film....St Vincent with Bill Murray. Tucks at the ole heart strings. Getting to know the old guy next door.
My favorite Robin Williams film is What Dreams May Come. It is visually beautiful and a tear jerker for sure. It's pretty old so don't know if is easily available.

That's a good recommendation for Joono Sin! Someone told me about it and I watched a few episodes, I LOL'd a couple of times.
I haven't watched TWD for ages, I forget where I left it, it got too dark and I couldn't see who was who. I think it went too long, I wanted it to end to see the ending, lol.

duffy, you like scifi, and most everyone here likes movies in general. there 's a site called retroflix that's free and has TONS of content, and they change out movies monthly. BUT they do have an area called what's expiring( something like that) , so you can watch or rewatch stuff before it disappears. i watched " monster club" there last night, it's a fave anthology of mine and my DVD is on loan at present, so i was a happy camper to find it there!

I've seen all of Line of Duty, love it. I wasn't too keen on the first season of Marcella but the second was brilliant.
If you don't mind foreign language films, La Mante is really good.

I just binge watched the 2nd season of Line of Duty over the weekend- really good.
I was actually going to suggest Marcella to Flashie Donuts but I forgot- I really liked it, apparently there is going to be a season 3.

The first season was weird, but the second was so sad. The only thing with binge watching is waiting for the next lot. Which reminds me...Ozark is really good.

I think that might have Jason Bateman in it. I have seen it there on NF but haven't watched it.
