Thanks for the reminder Carmella, it comes around quick again only seems like yesterday we were putting the clocks back for the end of it.
I remember that joono when I worked for a Mining Company over this way to speak to the HO in Kal when we had Daylight Savings it was a 3 hour time difference so often we had to wait until around 10 or 11am before we could converse with them so part of the day was gone at our end.

I guess that means you'll be seeing less of me and Joono for the next few months then. You'll be close to lunchtime before we've finished our breakfast and off to bed while we're still eating dinner.

Over here in California, daylight savings time ends November 4th at which point, we turns our clocks back, BUT, since all my clocks/watches are automatic, I don't usually think about it. My favorite wrist watch that I've had for a few years now, always tells the correct time because it's governed by the atomic clock....It's the Casio Waveceptor....Probably a cheaper watch in their line of the Atomic watches, and I wish the band was a little bit better quality, but it's really held up. Not a scratch on it, and it glitters like a multi-faceted jewel in the sunlight...(all those little shiny bevels on the hours and minutes indicators)... You never need to worry about the battery going dead because it's powered by light. The battery indicator is always on high, even though you might have it in the dark for a couple weeks...Any exposure to light, artificial or otherwise charges it right to full. AND, it's always accurate to the second, setting itself each night to the atomic clock signal. Keeps perfect dates as well.... I love my solar atomic watch almost as much as hamsters....

Every year OH asked me to change the clock in his car. Two years ago I suggested he get the manual, look it up and do it himself. He did and hasn't asked me again. Deb, go get that manual

Last car used to just leave the time out in daylight saving.
Eldest from Sydney..if she was visiting..first trip in our car she adjusts the time if it's out because of ds. She doesn't own a car and I don't even know how she knows to do that (which two buttons to push).
I asked her and she just shrugged.
Instructions in the user manual but that wasn't in the car most of the time.

I’d love daylight savings over here but I guess I’m in the minority so I’ll just have to sulk, *picture Joono’s avatar* 🤣

My only complaint about DS is that I get engrossed in doing something and then look at the time and get a shock when I realize how late it is.. I have to pick up my daughter from work soon... I almost forgot. it still feels like mid afternoon. I know I'll get used to it in a few weeks, but where does the time go?
