My mouse is still missing....It just seems to have vanished out of existence......During the period I was using it, I never left my place.....I was just using it to look at some charts on my laptop computer which is sitting on a coffee table....And I was sort of using the arm of the chair for the mouse pad (as is often my habit)....And then I drifted off to sleep....When I awoke, the thing was just gone....Like Bermuda Triangle, missing 911, gone.......winked out of existence....like raptured up and transported out, beam me up Scotty, dematerialized from this dimension of the physical reality as we know it gone...
So....Santa....I need a new mouse...

Have you moved furniture around in your search? It could be camouflaged and up against something else.
I don't know how old you are or if you have a lot of stuff. Often my old eyes can't see something in plain sight if it's mixed in with other things I'm looking at (did that make sense? ) I have messy hoardish counters and bookshelves.

I made a note that I had everything... keys, sunglasses, etc.
But where was my water bottle?
I start looking.
Can't find it.
I'm going nuts because it's bright pink and should be easy to see.
I was stressing out, and I thought I should put everything down and give myself a moment to think where I could have left it.
So I put my keys down, my sunglasses, my pink water bottle.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Damn.
